Cannondale SystemSix ‘inspired’ Frame

Hi All,

Looking for an aero and stiff crit frame, and have come across this on Ali Express.

Compared the geometry charts with a SystemSix and it comes up pretty much exactly the same, in my size however (51cm).

Looks a little heavier at 1250 grams for a 54cm. I’m ok with that though to be honest. Looks like there is plenty of meat around the bottom bracket and head tube area. Plenty stiff enough for my poultry 1100w sprints!

I can recommend LT268, because i ride one and it's awesome. in 54 it weighed 1163g in matte, 1191g in gloss. It feels very stiff with Airwolf 36cm cockpit (allegedly full t1100).
Interestingly, they are releasing the 301 which is very similar in looks & geometry, but takes 38C (I have mixed feelings about that) and weighs <1kg. I assume it's just as stiff, but that's a question worth asking Alisa.
Crit means tight corners / breaking / acceleration, right? Are you sure you want a 1250g frame? The systemsix is meant to go fast in a straight line, it's not a crit bike, afaik.

If you want something more aero & more aggressive, i recently also built 2 winow FM368. I liked building them less, but my 2 friends riding them like them a lot.

The store you're looking at is called Ruichuangda Bicycle Store & their ratings are below average. I wouldnt order from them.

It's just fancy car vinyl decals, the whole bike cost 10 euro in stickers, i found a friendly neighbor with a plotter machine. It's fully reversible (I half ghetto spray painted a bike last year, i regret it already).
In the last 2 years i built 9 bikes and rebuilt 1. I have too many bikes as well as friends who are supporting my toxic habit It's a hobby that occupies way too much space in my head.
Facteur & tractor is ofc me trolling Factor. This frame looks a lot like a factor Ostro something.

Plenty of people ride alloy Caads or Allez Sprint bikes which are even heavier, weight isn't that much of an issue for crit racing

Hello, Long teng 268. I love that bike. I get quite a few PMs asking me about it. I bought 2, built both, alongside 2 winow. Months before that, i built 4 VB frames. And after that, i built a grevil clone from Xiamen carbon speed (XCS, Peter on the forum). I've been recommending LT & XCS over the others. Sample size: 9.
What i recently wrote to someone who was asking was to keep in mind that the market changes a lot. It was my choice when i ordered last summer (2023), but it's quite an old frame now, and we're late 2024. Please dont ask me what i'd buy today, i'm not sure. But:
- consider the long teng 301, as it's from the same factory, but more recent. I have mixed feelings about it myself (38C clearance and chonky down tube, especially).
- consider the  SP Cycle 65 / 53 because they didnt exist when i ordered mine, and the specs list is interesting.

Either way, i'm super happy with my 268, so if you were to buy one, i doubt you'd regret it, but it doesnt mean it's the best frame, especially owing to its age.
In fact... i feel that if they were to update the layup, use T1000 or something along those lines, and charge more for it, it might be the best aero open mould frame out there, because the only sub optimal thing as far as i'm concerned is that it's not a light frame by 2024 standards (1160g with metal bits (no TA) in 54 matte, 30g more in gloss).
