LEXON Road Carbon Crankset

Good morning everyone, I should be receiving my Lexon crankset with a 29mm spindle any day now. I ordered it without the double chainring. Could you give me some advice on what to buy? I'll make sure it's compatible with the stock crank spider. Thank you so much.

I saw Stone and Pass Quest chainrings on AliExpress, but I'm not sure if they're compatible with Lexon, definitely Shimano. Thanks again.

Personally I’ll just stick with shimano chainrings.

Bought the XMCS ones but immediately went back to dura ace.

In fact, the safest option is Shimano chainrings. I'm building a bike with all Chinese components, so I need to use something Japanese.

I ordered the cranks half a year ago but because my frame was damaged (another story) I could not install them. I now got a new frame and while installing the cranks have 8mm space between  tensioner and fame(There is 2mm spacers on each side already). Any idea how to solve this? BB386 bottom bracket.

Add cranks spacers. Might be a good idea to measure the length of the spindle, it wouldn't be the first to be out of spec.

4mm on each side is a bit much no?

I have put a few k kms and to be honest they’ve been quite good. 😌

Unless you need a super narrow Q factor they’re great for the price.

I’ve lost the screw for the preload adjustment ring.
Can I use any dub preload adjustment ring for the 24mm version?
Haven’t found inside diameter measurements for replacements on AliExpress.
Might as well order a replacement for my XMC crank while I’m at it.

They (ryet) won't accept the spindle is to long and claim that from ylumy pictures it looks like it has had a lot of use and is not new, while it's only grease visible. The spindle is 99mm.

I contacted lexon directly, another 200 euro down the drain. Slowly stepping away from cheap Ali express I guess..

Why not just use spacers and be done with it?

Because it ruins the chainline or the alignment of the cranks or both.

You are correct, chainline and Q-factor are off - even if "marginal" but they are simply out of spec.
Do you need to fix something for the supplier (with spacers) if they deliver something out of spec?

Did you not buy through AliExpress so that you can use the buyer protection?

BTW: I was looking for a 175mm carbon crankset with 24mm axle, not many options.
After Lexon, I purchased a Rockbros crank. Ugly branding on the crank, but the axle length and Q-factor are according to specification.

I've been dealing with ryet store for a week now but they don't want to acknowledge something is wrong. They just keep asking for more proof while I provided evidence. I'll share the conversation later when it's not resolved soon.
