New Tavelo Arow has 'interesting' geometry
« on: May 19, 2024, 09:27:32 PM »
Being short, the BMC Roadmachine 01 is one of the few bikes I have owned that fits me. Well, apparently until the new Tavelo Arow. the geo looks almost identical. Getting my greedy hands on this one ASAP. My BMC has over 100k on it since 2018. Time for a +1 methinks.

1. Tavelo arow thread had already been made. Check the link above and actually read it

2. Geometry doesnt look similar at all according to what im looking at on geometrygeeks. Post screenshots if you think otherwise

You don't need maths.  Just the pattern recognition skills of a 5 year old.

Since you say you're short, let's compare the 51s.  54 included for comparison's sake.

They're wildly different.

I'd say that it is closer to Teammachine:

Yes, different sizes, but size numbers aren't standardized

Ok so similar in ant sizes and completely different in most other sizes

I doubt little people like being referred to as ants, but i genuinely didn't know 42 was a bike frame size. Or 45, for that matter.
The tooling cost to have fifty different frame sizes for a single model must be huge, i guess the existence of such small sizes means they plan to target China first.
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.
