Speeder Cycling SC-R55D

Came across this bike built on R55D frame.
For some reason it doesn't look very cool in this build and colorway. Gives me cheap and generic vibes while the price is kidna crazy.

Yeah your right it doesnt look very cool, but I dont think the derpy looking campy hoods, lots of spacers and the shallow wheels are helping it. Elite also does this finish on some of their wheels. I have a matte version and I do like it but there's a couple of things that annoy me:
 1) some parts of the frame are not raw but painted black. I think they spray paint joints and parts of the frame where carbon looks kinda ugly. I personally would rather have ugly carbon showing that just black paint. It is very obvious and does not look great especially in the direct sunlight when carbon weave reflects it but painted parts remain just black. It looks the worst on the fork where the entire crown and bottom part where the dropouts are connected are painted.
 3) my girlfriend hated it and keeps remind me how horrible it looks

I find it funny the bike is positioned as all-road or even light gravel frame, while it is just a regular modern road geometry. And the price tag is stupid too.

Pictured like this, it feels like an alternative to the sl7 / SL8 without being a copy of it. Looks nice.

I'm coming from an older rim brake model so the majority of my subjective views can be disregarded.
Ordered 12/5/25, sent 23/5/25 and received 29/5/25.
I ordered a size 560, asked Justin if there was any movement on handlebar dimensions re longer stem on the narrowest option. The handlebar was 370/105mm and ordered a 0mm offset seatpost.
Bars weighed 380g.
Frame weighed 908g.
Fork weighed 393g.
Front axle 33g, rear axle 45g. Frame comes with option to purchase without these- would consider as they are fairly heavy options.
170g additional parts- spacers, seat clamp etc.

On arrival frame had a small patch of what seemed like moulding material remaining on the inner aspect of the head tube. This was easy to remove and therefore not pictured.
Bottom bracket used was the SRAM DUB BB86 one, fitted easily and have had no creaks. BB86 is the only real issue with the frame- am expecting the bearings to wear out quickly but up to this point have had no issues. The T47 version seems interesting on this front.
Overall have had no issues with the frame, it's significantly faster than my previous bike and am very satisfied with the purchase.

They do but It depends may be of their work load.

Certainly won't be apples to apples, but my replacement frame is now on order.

Given the combination of insurance money, '25 model year sale prices, and additional "bro discounts", I maaaaaaaay have splurged for a SWorks SL8...

Looking forward to the comparison between the two!  A friend of mine will be taking the speeder and running it at risk, so I can always hop on them side by side

Can we agree that we changed the carbon layup since the first post? It is now T800/1100 and MJ40 end. And they lowered the weight by 100gs. Size 51 is now 780g. If this is true I think it makes the frame quite a bit more interesting. I wish they did EPS moulding.
