Hello everyone 
It's my first build on chinese carbon frame. Tideace FM-009 with Tideace fork.
Shimano XT 11sp drivetrain with Sram 1400 (Neutrino 32T cog) and Sunrace MX8 42T cassette.
Wheels based on Bitex-clone hubs and Mavic XC421 rims, not so light, but strong.
Shimano XT brakes.

Yes, suspension fork will be better. But this bike at first was planned as inexpensive. Soon I'll try to buy Fox fork for next season.
I'm have old Specialized Epic full suspension bike and ride on them ten years, now want try 29er. So now have chinese ht.
I drove already on it 500km, but still can not get used to. Mixed feelings, each bike has its + and -.

Well... some adaptation time should be expected when moving from a full suspension Epic 26"( I guess ) to a full rigid 29er
A fork will make a very big difference. Maybe you can find one second hand.

I've been told that if you put a 120mm fork, instead of a normal 100mm on this kind of bike.
It will make a slacker head tube angle, and be a more capable bike for attacking trails more aggressively, and have more fun.

Any love for an Ebike?  150/150 travel F/R, 'slack' geo,  Shimano E8000 STePS, Di2 11sp, full carbon, Fox/RS Yari suspension.  Crank Bros dropper, shock remote lockout. Now on heavy wheels, 47 lbs with pedals.  Carbon wheels coming, should knock off a bit of that.

I’d just like to share this frame and curious what others think. It’s interesting there isn’t much ebike love on the forum. I’m really curious how difficult it is to source and build up a reliable ebike from one of the Chinese frames?

I was very keen on taking on an Ebike project based on a Chinese carbon frame and a Steps 8000 system. However I quickly gave up as it is impossible to source a Steps E8000 kit. You will have bye everything in bits and pieces and that will bring the cost way over what you you can buy a similar Ebike for from a well known brand. I ended up buying a brand new Specialized Turbo Levo carbon 3 month ago and wow that Ebike have changed my MTB riding to the better.

Heres my FM036 size 15.5 bought from Hongfu November 2013. I have added internal dropper after a quick drill and fishing.

This is my second time plastidipping but this time its a whole frame respray with gloss finish and protection tape added to some of the more vulnerable contact points.

 I'm hoping the plastidip  lasts more than one year in a good condition as the UK winters do this product no favours at all.

Having built a 27.5 from Woke Cycles over 2 years with my son racing it at Regional level and it being able to tackle even the 2012 Olympic MTB course at Haldleigh Park it was time to go at it again as he's grown.

We selected a FM-003 T1000 carbon 19" from Spcycle via EBay (£200.00 delivered) as it had the lines we liked and they responded to my queries promptly.... Build up was easy and no problems were encountered. The only job was to drill out a couple of water drainage holes to the removeable bottom plate. Some Cove USA decals were added as no one knows of them in the UK really and he likes the graphics. No rattling of internal cables and easily sub 10kg in race trim.

Rock Shox Reba Forks and Deore XT bits as broken/worn parts in battle need to be cheap for spares but money spent on the lightweight wheelset build: DT Swiss XR361 rims laced to 350 hubs and Sapim spokes... XR361's selected as they can be used for cyclocross in the Winter.

Built for XC speed and it's maiden battle was a week after build up and my son says it raced flawlessly.
