I've got Thinkrider X2Max and Magene PES-P515 spider based powermeter, and X2Max always shows about 10% higher power. Both devices were calibrated many times, which doesn't help. Is it possible to adjust the X2Max readings somehow? I can't find such option in the Thinkrider Tools app. It's possible to tweak the Magene instead but I believe its readings more.

There is also another problem with my X2Max, which appeared after the latest firmware update (via Thinkrider Tools app). From time to time, the resistance on the trainer goes up (or, more rarely, down) significantly for a second or two. You can see such peaks on the graph in the previous post. I mostly use ERG mode in Rouvy, and didn't try another app and free ride mode yet. Does anyone have the same experience?

The app shows these version numbers:

BLECurrent version: V3.3.1
TMSCurrent version: V255.255.255
Current APP version:V2.1.32

Hello everyone,

I bought an X2 Max. The rear brake part of the frame rubs against the trainer a little. In fact, the frame rubs too. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Do you have the right adapters set up? I don’t have that model but mine has adapter for 135, 142 and 148mm rear axles (or something like that for measurements)

Mywhoosh is free. I'd be surprised if you couldn't sideload the apk or the play store. I just got a lenovo tablet because my phone stuttered a lot with mywhoosh and it runs great
The only remaining free alternative AFAIK is cyclego, but it looks about as fun as staring at your head unit. There might also be magene's onelap but I think the free version is very very limited. There used to be like 6 free apps but they've all either gone paid or out of biz.

Have you received the HT? if yes how is the virtual cassette? Do you have any other powermeter to check the accuracy of the HT?

Maybe you can get the apk here
https://apkpure.com/mywhoosh-indoor-cycling-app/com.mywhoosh.whooshgame

or with the Aurora store, I was using this store when I was using my Huawei P40 pro.

if you have microg installed, you can check to get Gbox, and the google play store.

It will be nice to compare with your P515

The only app I know that can do is QZ App, I never tried it but I did ask the owner and he said it should work. You can always refund if the app doesn’t up working.

tested the virtual cog today, worked pretty much flawlessly out of the box after pairing (on Zwift) - however with the 12% setting I had not enought gearing (uphill not small enough and not big enough for sprinting)... I'll test the 8% setting in the next days, however I think that I'll only be changing gears then because it seems to only add more gears (however I'd need a bigger jump between the gears, not more gears  ???)
