Wondering if there is any need for spacer with this frame in combination with the ULTEGRA BBR60 68mm BSA BB and the ULTEGRA FC-R8100. So far I did not use any...and it seems to be working fine.

Won't work. I have tried to fit a 33mm CX tire in the front, wouldn't want to ride it with that. almost rubbing on the paint

What's the tyre measure? 
I ahve seen 34mm fitted on to a gen SL8 its tight but they fit

They're UCI compliant (33mm); I guess one could ride them on the X68, but it needs to be really dry

Hey yall,

i did it and bought a x68 in green.

i finally went trough all 132 pages to this frame and there are some questions occuring:

1. I want to ride 160f and 160rear rotors with a shimano Di2 brake. Is there a need for extra adapters for fork and/or frame?
2. How long did it take to order, paint and ship to Germany? Rose told me, the longest would be end of April. I this reliable?
3. Is it worth it to buy those Di2 latex covers for the cables in advance?
4. How is the fork quality now in 2026? Any issues here?
5. Got a new 116 link shimano chain sitting here, should there be more links for a 52/36 and 11-34 casette with a size 58 frame?

They are just for guiding those Di2 cables through the frame and reduce friction and play between cables and frame on the inserts. They used to be included by TT as i read, some users said they arent anymore.

correct, the fork is 160 only. The adaptor they ship works. The rear is standard.

Finally got around building mine. Routing left side on the cockpit was absolute nightmare, broke my routing tool too. Ended up filing the hole a bit. Lots of snagging on to something and the shifter end hole is just wrong, it looks like it is drilled directly to behind instead of an angle.

Routing mechanical rim brakes on my Lexon cockpit was a breeze compared to this.

Just shy of 100km first ride. Very comfy ride even with tires pressures being too high. I have 30mm Conti GP 5k S TR on 26 or 27 internal wheels, tires measure pretty much at bang on 33mm.
Drive side has about 3mm space and NDS has a bit less than 3mm. I was thinking of running 32mm on rear but that does not seems necessary considering how soft the ride was.

Cockpit feels like it is too soft, noodly even. Anyone tried stock one and then went for 3rd party option?

On the stand brakes are fine but out of saddle front brake rubs. I checked Specialized manual and they recommend 15nm on thru-axles, highly likely I am not quite that high. Still need to check and probably file the mount a bit.

Using a Ali zero offset post, fit to frame is a bit loose, no slippage though. Dont like the 1 bolt saddle clamp though. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010110922128.html
Maybe I have not quite read every single post carefully enough but SL 8 seat posts *DO NOT* fit this frame? At least how they should?

Overall quite pleased from one ride.

Well recorded issue with these frames is the poor finish of the brake mounts basically they are not machined flat at factory like the real deal. Same as the BB shell.
I had the same issue with my front brake great in the stand but rub when riding.
To it to a LBS to have the brake mounts and BB shell faced now all good!
