30 Corsa Controls are no issue at all on a 26 int. Lots of room. Probably room for 32's. I believe Patrick ran 32's on the 26 int wheels in his Youtube review...(gp5000s?)

Hey all, I have some unfortunate news. After one of the last rides, the bike developed a rather audible click when pedaling out of the saddle. 

I inspected almost everything on the bike and decided to try the fork. Well... when I press on the left fork (where the brake hose is), I can hear a loudish click.
There are no visible cracks or anything, not even a scratch on it, so it must be something internal.

I decided to contact Tantan before posting about it here. They responded to me the next day. They did not ask any other questions and asked me to send the video to their email.

After one day, I got a response that they would arrange for the fork to be painted (10-15 days) and send it to me via DPD (another 10-15 days). I assume it will be free of charge, there was no mention of payment whatsoever. I also asked if the fork will be the same or stronger. I only got a one-word answer, "stronger" fwiw.

I wanted to share it here after I got a response from TanTan. Considering the way they responded, it's quite reasonable customer service in the end. I don't want to raise any alarms or anything else, just posting my experience.

when my kid's frame arrives (supposedly on Monday) the first thing i will be doing is weighing the fork. hoping it will be the ~370g variety rather than the ~330g forks that a lot of the frames seem to get shipped with.

Good they’re willing to deal with the issue but it’s not that confidence inspiring. Granted, you’re a slightly heavier but that shouldn’t happen repeatedly.

Happy to hear they are sending a new 'stronger' one. Im hoping the frame I just purchased is sent with the 'stronger' fork.

Lol. This isn't how China works. Think about what each answer costs them, think about the probability that they get called out, and the probability that they get bitten in the ass if they get called out.
Now, you might as well as them to get the box blessed by the ghost of lady Diana, they could just reply "done" just as well.
You're buying clones from currently maybe the shadiest/ least reputable seller on this forum. Don't take anything at face value.

Due to limited time my built got delayed, but yesterday I got the bottom area faced.
Was definitely a must.

Got the bb cups (CEMA,for dub) installed today, spinning fine now.


However, I will push tantan to send a new fork,
My one is 332g uncut, so even lighter than advertised (390g +/- 40g) and lighter than an OEM one from Specialized (350g-390g).

The fork which snapped (see page 54) was at the same weight and also showed a QR-code and serial number, which is not present on the heavier forks which are around 395g.
TanTan stated "The heavier version is the updated and enhanced version." so they are aware of an issue or just lying about the fact that they are sourcing the fork from different suppliers.

The report on this page shows that it is a systematic failure, let's see what tantan responds.

Given all this, I would not order again.

Any recommendations for computer mount and direct mount hanger? Mine was shipped last week so probably another week or two before I get my hands on it.

I also bought a "Ali Roval" Computer mount as a precautionary measure, however, the mout which came with the frame was just fine... In my opinion no need for another one.

Very nice looking build. I'm going for the same look but probably with Roval wheels... just need this frame to arrive already.

Hi guys ! Any fix for creaking noise in BB when loading
I removed the crankset, pedals, greased everything.
It worked for about 200 km. Now the creaking is coming back when pushing hard.
Do you recommend removing the BB or replacing it all ?

I saw people using pipe tape, could be a solution
