Anyone use a dropper post and an Shimano-style wireless groupset?

I'm likely a glutton for punishment, but I added an internally routed dropper post to my gravel bike that's running L-Twoo eGR and it made the negotiation of where to store the battery... interesting.

But, I love a challenge.

I jerry-rigged a funny situation where I have some wire tied to the bottom of the post and wrapped around the top of the battery in the little groove that will help me retrieve the battery if I need to, upon removing the post.

Separately, as I can't rely on a snug fit through the seat tube, I created a small ring of electrical tape on the bottom 1/3 of the battery to give it a *bit* more width and replaced the normal m5x12mm screw that I'm using as a placeholder in the front derailluer mount position with a m5x20mm that creates a kind of "floor" for the battery. Between the screw, the tape, the extra housing for the dropper post cable and the "bobbed" wire to the bottom of the seatpost... that motherfucker doesn't move at all, lol. No rattle or anything.

Feeling pretty clever - but doing *any* work on it is going to be an absolute shitshow and holy fuck is potentially packing it in my bike bag almost a non-starter now with internally routed brakes and seatpost through bar, stem and frame lol.

But whatever, it's tight.

Anyone else tried to accommodate this?

Yup, I made a post a while ago about the method I devised to stash the battery at the bottom of the downtube without rattling: https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,4662.0.html

I've since used the same method on my new bike build, but I forgot the zip ties before putting it into the frame, so I stuffed a bunch of bubble wrap in there to wedge it against the frame, and it doesn't work as well. Don't forget them!
