Funny, I bought the same setup this morning. With coupon codes it was about $227 USD after tax. It was the cheapest option amongst the stand alone Magene PM and another PM/Zrace crankset with chainring. I don't plan to use the cranks though. I'm going to use the PM spider on my Riro carbon crankset instead.

Yeah, 227 after the coupons, I think.

Also not gonna use the crankset, but whatever/whatever.

You can use the PES magene set and just use the spider for the Riro? What’s the anticipated weightsaving and are you happy with the riro?

I have the magene PES currently but I just don’t like the looks. And it’s a bit heavy

After reading all the messages here, I know I'm not alone.
My wife also wonders why strange packages appear on a weekly base.

There is always a bike that has to be build for whatever reason I find.
Ordered another frame. Just have to sell some stuff before I explain why I needed the frame that I didn't need.

Stopped racing last year, I have some weeks before the frame arrives. Maybe I need to complain about back pain every ride now. Haha

A bit of topic question: there are too many variables ("standards") here at once (BB, BCD, etc.) above my knowledge/experience level, is there a variant of this powermeter which will accept this Specialites TA set?

No those are GRX chainrings, you need road standard for the magene spider.

they mention that the inner ring is an 80mm mounting dia. None of these cranks are compatible w/that. you should be able to mount one-piece 110bcd doubles though.

Had been watching prices for awhile and decided to press buy on a bunch of smaller items. 2 YKYW bibs (one standard, one thermal) a headlight, a tail light, fresh bells and drop bar mirrors, gloves, tubes, and a chest strap.

"Saved" a couple dozen dollars with stacked coupons and such, really didn't "need" much of it, but one must treat themselves occasionally right?

I'm anxious to see how well the bell and smart tail light works. Anyone else have experience with these?

I'm anxious to see how well the bell and smart tail light works. Anyone else have experience with these?

I don't have this one, but I have one of the Xoss 'smart' lights with similar features. It supposedly detects braking and brightens when you brake. It also goes to 'sleep' to conserve battery when it doesn't detect any motion. Overall, I like my Xoss light. The braking feature may or may not work, but I'm not worried about that. The auto-sleep at least once went to sleep on my bike that's very smooth. I was not pleased with that, and I've been paranoid about it ever since. On my road bike, it doesn't seem to have that problem at all since it's a much stiffer ride and feels the vibrations and motion much more intensely.

I have the Seemee200 one model down from yours. The light it creates is great, love that it lights up the ground around you, definitely makes you very visible. The battery on my model is not very good, but yours is quite a bit bigger than mine so hopefully that means the battery is bigger too.

I have bought a whole bunch of stuff this 11.11 including a set of Go-Zone wheels! 45mm deep 30mm wide and 1250g supposedly, hopefully these will bring my bike down to around 7kg!

I have this. You have to tighten it every few days. One of those stripped the main screw right away too. Biggest problem is since it's mounted on the rubber hood it keeps rattling when you go over rough surface. Doesn't stay put. Oh and it's not loud. The biggest draw is how well it hides/takes no space on bar. That's it. Not too impressive.

I figured it might need a little loctite and some double sided tape/adhesive goop to keep it mounted solidly.  Thanks for the heads up so I can just do it from the start and avoid mid-ride fiddling.  On the sound, i almost prefer something kind of quiet on my road bike as my experience is that loud bells make people just as jumpy as anything else possibly could.  I was drawn to the bell by the "stealth" factor.  Will go well with my bar end plug mirror, that's only passingly good enough to notice car lights approaching from behind.
