Merida Scultura/Reacto integrated cockpit alternative ?

Hello everyone,

I will be riding for a racing team in the 2025 season. We have already been fitted with Merida Scultura bikes. However, the bike currently has a truck handlebar with a width of 42 or 44 cm. It is the Merida Team SL Cockpit.

Too bad to replace it, but it's just way too wide. I need a 36 or 38 cm Cockpit.

We will have to pay for replacement components ourselves. Unfortunately, I'm not prepared to spend 450 euros on a Vision Metron 5d.

Unfortunately, the Airwolf cockpit doesn't fit properly and I don't want a DIY solution...

Do you have a solution?

The One aero cockpit would really be my pain threshold in terms of price.

do you also have it on a Merida, or how do you know that it fits perfectly?

I have a Merida Reacto and was looking for something similar. I ended up with using the FSA stem that is already on and have bought a Speeder SC-RH01 handlebar (after advice on this board). Could that be an option?

I have not mounted it yet. But the quality is great and it seems super stiff.

I ended up paying 138$ (handlebar, Tax and shipment to Denmark).

I would therefore also want to replace this with another complete cockpit.

I really like the “the one”. I found it from another seller on aliexpress under three different names.

According to the seller, they all come from the same factory as “the one” - just with the synchros logo or without the logo.
i have to say, the communication was very difficult. he answered in chinese and it was translated by aliexpress...

Both Reacto and Scultura use ACR system which is pretty much the same to what you get from The One accessories. I use the handlebar myself and have a ride buddy who use it on his Reacto. The frame cap may sit a bit too tight compared to the stock setup but with little facing the problem is solved without any adapters, the same mentioned here in reviews - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003968726979.html. The handlebar is very good and posses good balance between stiffness, weight and vibration dampening, the only thing I wish they had it in 36cm. I would also suggest to get a nicer shorter alloy computer mount from Ridenow instead of default chinese mount crap.
