Winter bike frame: 32mm with fenders & no toe overlap?
« on: November 21, 2024, 12:29:50 PM »
Looking to build a dedicated performance winter road bike. Needs to accept fenders and clear a 32mm tire with fenders, preferably with no toe overlap on my 170mm cranks. Hoping for classic road/endurance handling, so some of these newer gravel bikes with slack head tubes don’t fit the bill. Any suggestions!! Thank you

Have you looked at the GV201? Very long front centre while maintaining a low stack height. Has fork crown fender mount + six pack eyelets and rack/fender mounts on the rear -- you'll just need a solution for the seatstay bridge like Santa Cruz offers for the stigmata: https://shop.santacruzbicycles.com/collections/shop-stigmata-small-parts/products/fender-mount-kit-stig-3-quincy-1

Thank you! I’ll take a look at that one, it was not on my radar.

Hahaha on Tideace! I’ve seen some pretty bad English translations, but straight AI-generated with no proof reading has to take the cake!
