For looks or because you prefer to ride a bike with zero offset seatpost?

For my height/reach and preferred frame size, I have to push my saddle all the way forward. With a 0 offset, my saddle is positioned more in the center. Also I tend to like using the tip of my saddle for more climbing levrage or when I go high cadence.

Hi received my spcycle r088 and the bb is misaligned and not straight had to ream it a lot. Could not get it to be perfectly straight and they said they are all made like that.
second problem was the di2 battery in the seat post. I had to sans down the seat tube for it to fit. Something was blocking.

I think it's 20, but there's a 0 offset option. I wish they had that 0 offeset option when I bought the bike!

What's the depth in the cone spacer? 10mm?

I have two dilemmas before ordering.

1- Matt Or glossy black.
2- 52 with longer stem and spacers or 54 with zero spacers.

Any thoughts?

I am between sizes (174cm but short legs, long torso) and chose 54.  I can get the 52 to work, but the low stack has me maxing spacers to get me (barely) to the drop I have now.  The 54 isn't much longer, but stack goes up a bit.  I dropped from a 110 to 100 stem, but now have some adjustability in spacers.  You seem to be at the other end where a 54 is slammed.  I guess it depends on how long a stem is long whether the 52 works for you.

I'm about 173cm on a size 52cm with 20mm of spacers, but running 34cm bars at the hoods. I was originally thinking of slamming it, but I have another bike that's slammed, so I keep my R088 a bit more relaxed.

How did you find out your bb was misaligned? My r088 frame just arrived and i can feel that the bb threads feel a bit rough when I go through them with my finger, also there seems to be some black „powder“ or something similar in some threads, i think its most likely from paintjob and got there somehow.
Currently i dont have the a bb here to try the threads and I will be away now for 2 weeks so i can only try after. But if my bb is also misaligned what do you do? I thought maybe just putting in the bb can clean up the threads if theyre not really misaligned, but if they are it might worsen the situation? I read that bb shouldnt really be hard to thread, at least at the beginning.

Apart from that i can say i really like the bb glossy color and the „shine through carbok look“. There are 1 to 2 little spots where the paint has a tiny imperfection (a little hole, there is still paint but a little less than around. but its really tiny, only a very small and optical thing) or where there seem to be some little scratches under the clearcoat paint.
But really overall I am very happy with the frameset and the paint. Also i got to whole frameset with the 380mm integrated handlebar. So I can also give some feedback on that after my build is completed. From looking into it I assume I will also have to sand down the seat tube a little bit.ah an yeah there is also some paint near the holes for the flat mounts, so probably will also habe to sand down a little there.

Yeap the opposite to you. :-) 172cm, 82cm inside leg. Average arm length I think.
A thing which I absolutely hate in the 52s is the length of the front base. I hate hitting the front wheel with my shoes when turning :-(

77.5cm inseam here, so pretty much the opposite end of the leg length scale.  The Specialized calculator vacillates between 52 and 54 for me, but at my most correct seat height it says 54.  We'll see how it turns out!
