Love it! Seriously I've never seen so many frames with the same UV glossy raw + lightweight UNO stem combination! The bike oligarchy might try to ban this frame for being too cyclist friendly and practical!

Haha yeah, I liked the look of the finish on yours, so chose the same, and I actually think it's pretty cool to be able to so clearly see the carbon under the clear coat. I also massively like the fact that I will almost certainly never see the same frame being used by someone else.

Hey everyone, first post here just wanting to share my build and first impressions:

Frame/Cockpit:
 * Frame: Spcycles R088, 58cm
 * Cockpit: Spcycles Integrated Handlebar (400mm x 100mm)
 * Saddle: SQlab 612R Carbon, 130g
Groupset:
 * Shifters/Brakes: Ltwoo ERX 12-Speed Hydraulic Disc
 * Derailleurs: Ltwoo ERX Electronic (Front & Rear)
 * Crankset: Shimano Ultegra R8100 (52-36) Right Arm / 4iiii 105 Left-Side Power Meter
 * Cassette: ZTTO Ultralight 12s, 11-28t
 * Chain: Shimano Dura-Ace 12-Speed
 * Bottom Bracket: ZTTO BSA
Wheels & Tires:
 * Wheels: Xiamen Tandell Carbon, 50mm Deep, 30mm Wide
 * Tires: Continental GP5000 S TR, 30c
 * Rotors: Iiipro Centerlock, 160mm

 * Pedals: Dura-Ace SPD-SL
 * Bottle Cages: Generic Carbon (x2)

I'm 6'2" so the first thing I'll say is it felt cramped. Unfortunately spcycles only makes a 110mm bar and I'm ideally looking for 400x120 - does anyone know a bar that will work with the existing spacers (I do want integrated cockpit)

Other than that, coming from a 2008 specialized tarmac comp - huge difference. As my first modern frame was impressed with how stiff it was. Ltwoo erx worked great too.

Few issues I had with the build:
The whole for the rear derailleur battery cable was too small - drilled it out an extra 1mm

Inside the seat post had a protrusion, probably where the frame mold met. This was a bitch and wouldn't let the battery slide past it. Had to put some sandpaper on the end of a long drill bit to sand the imperfection away.

Front derailleur mount was not straight. Front derailleur would not sit parallel. Had to shim it with some plastic - not ideal.

Other than that, happy with the build but because of those issues not for the beginner who wants an easy to put together bike.

I am also 6'2". I have 91.4cm inseam...so long legs, slightly shorter torso. Do you have similar dimensions? I use a 110mm stem on my current bike but the R088 bike has a shorter reach and taller stack. Id love a 36x120 bar combo

Exactly the same here haha liked the look on his bike and went for it. Don't regret it a single bit. And the UNO stem is a no brainer for the price. Been using it on my gravel bike before and now also on the R088

Following this thread for a while now and have pulled the trigger on a size 58.  I'm 6'3" have gone frame only (no bars). Looking forward to building it up.  2 to 3 weeks delivery to UK. Got it using latest AliExpress offer (circa 420 using 'seller preferred ' shopping.
...now to start getting everything ready for the buid. 👍

Frame received.  So far looks good.  Bottom bracket appears to screw on properly.  Wheels fit on well.  I did need to slightly clean up the head tube where some glue strings must have dripped - 20 minutes with a pick and those were popped off.

Paint job looks good - they were agreeable to the two color fade I asked for.  Need to get a logo on the downtube.  Wheels and groupset are a bit out, but I don't see any showstoppers here in building this up.

What about those rear brake mounts? We're they painted over?

I'll have a look.  They did mask, but I'm not sure if the paint creeps over onto the flat mating surface.

People who got the first version of frame with the rear axle play:

Did you successfully resolve the issue with the provided axle/conical washers? How many thick washer did you have to put? Spcycle did send me a replacement axle with 3 conical washers+ a thick black flat washer, but no matter the stack I install, I still get some play.

I am trying to confirm here that no matter how many spacers they provide, the axle itself is the issue.

I just swapped my thru axle with one that comes with a large conical washer. It solved the rear wheel play. They sent me washers, but I opted not to use them. These are the specs: 12x168mm 19L 1.0 thread

Looking forward to building it up and will share some pictures once it arrives. They mentioned it should arrive in early August, though I'm not sure if that's realistic.

Is anyone using a different integrated cockpit than the one offered by Spcycle (something more like the SL8)? Do I just need a round top cap for the headset? Thanks!

I’ve also pulled trigger on 58cm frame in gloss black, no bars. Also got early august delivery estimate on AliExpress.

It’s my first Chinese frame too and which will replace my beloved Columbus steel condor fratello, which I might keep and build back up with 105 di2. The new frame will get ultegra di2, 50mm carbon wheels, kalloy stem, 30mm Hutchinson tyres with ridenow tubes all from the condor. I’ve got a 36cm carbon bar on order from panda podium which was going on the condor but will go on this instead. Might eventually go for an integrated bar if I can be bothered.
