After a few weeks and some vacations in between, my frame is here, and I have started to put things together.

The goal was to stay on 1k, so I went for mechanical Ltwoo R9 gouurpset (120), Magene P505 (I already had it), a set of Tagoola Wheels (350), Toseek TKR100 Handlebar (70)

So far, the biggest issue is cable routing through the handlebars and headset. It was a nightmare, but it was possible. I hope to finish today  and do a small test

Please, clamp your bike from the seatpost not the tube.

I got it all put together (once the seat post was in place, I clamped it from there) and did a small 20km test drive.

It is a very nice bike, light, agile and responsive. I am quite happy and hope I never have to re-route the cables.

I have already ridden this bike for more than 500 kilometers and I noticed that the stem uno is quite flexible. Otherwise, everything is fine. However, now it seems to me that even with my height 178 and inseam 84 cm I should have taken size 52, because the drop from saddle to handlebar looks quite small. Saddle height on the photo around 69-70 cm. And I feel numbness in the wrist while riding. I would be glad to hear an opinion about the size of the my bike.
Now the bike is on aluminum wheels ztto r1s (1600 grams) with Maxxis welter weight tubes and continental ultra sport 28 mm tires. I also used a full groupset Shimano 105 di2, everything works fine. rxl sl 38 cm handlebar and stem uno 110 mm. Weight with xpedo thrust 7 pedals 7.6-7.7 kg, if the scales are accurate. There's no obvious issues with the size, but I would say the wrist numbness is because your shifter hoods are too far forwards and you're putting too much weight on them. Try moving them back and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks i will try this. I tried to set the saddle height according to LeMond's method (inseam×0.883), I couldn't even ride like that, it didn't work for me at all. I lowered the saddle by about 4 cm

Also finally finished the build for my girlfriend’s sister (Size 52cm for 173cm height, 81.5 cm inseam). She’s super happy, the bike feels responsive and the build up was almost hassle free (except for getting the headset play right).

Struggling to solve my headset play issue, tried tightening the preload way too much and no luck, anyone find a solution?

I also had headset play, the root causes for me were:

1. wrong compression ring, there are two different heights when you order the frame with handlebar
2. steering tube was cut ~ 500 microns to long, avoiding proper clamping just slightly. Solved this with a flat headset cap

The LeMond method may not be 100% accurate, but a 4cm difference is really too much... are you sure your inseam is 84cm?
Something's not quite right... since you're also unsure about the frame size, have you ever considered consulting a biomechanic?

I attached some more photos, maybe they help :-) It's both aluminium as she wants to use the handlebars with clamp-on TT bars. The frame didn't come with painting around the headset area, so as SpCycle seems to use a 57mm top cap and Deda (and all others) 56 mm top cap, I had to put some white nail polish to get a got coverage and look.

Put some microspacers between the compression ring and top cap. Still the steering won't get rough no matter how much preload I put on, but the headset play disappeared.

These are the 160mm Shimano RT-CL900. Just like them better than the Shimano 105 level ones. If you take 160mm brake rotors, you will need to put an adapter at the back for compatibility.

Shimming is the way. As a test I cut a bit of a builders spacer up to put under the right side of the mount, it’s about 1.5mm thick. Works a treat, I just need to find something more aesthetically pleasing, maybe a black credit card or something. Photos show before and after tension bolt adjustment.

I was finally able to add a shim under the FD mount, it made a huge difference in adjustability. Super easy to get the limits right after this change too. No issues on a quick 11 mile ride earlier today, hoping this solved my chain drop issue for good.
