What's the widest tire that can fit in this frame? I currently have 28 mm tires, but I'd like to fit wider ones in the future. Has anyone tested this?

Currently I'm on 32s Michelin PowerCups. I'd say 36 won't fit but 34-35 might.

It all depends on your rim/tyre combination and the resulting actual measured dimensions, i did a experiment mounting panaracer gravelking slick 38 on i29 rims -> WAM 43mm. Very little margins for mud/debree around the chainstays (~2mm) and the front deraileur were (just) touching the tyre.

I'm now running Vittoria N.EXT 34mm on i23 rims, WAM36 this leaves 6mm clearance to the chainstays.

Based on this i'd say if you are modest with the internal width (<=23-24mm) a 38mm tyre will problably be OK but if you want to be on the safe side go for 34-36mm tyres.

38 mm on the R088?! No way. Does not even clear 35mm (iw 21mm) in the front.
Commute: Spcycle G068
Road: Canyon Endurace CF8 + Spcycle R088

Nope.
34mm wam tops as I said previously.
Anything else and you're getting witness marks at best.

Does anyone in the UK want to swap a 380mm offset seat post for a zero offset one? Or have an offset post for sale? To be clear, I have the zero offset and want to try the layback / offset. I'm at the limit of rear movement with my 56cm bike, and I'm starting an allroad build on my 54cm bike.

Hello everyone,
I'm considering buying this frame. The thing is, I need the handlebars to be a bit higher 4–5 cm would be enough.
So, my question is: can I simply use more spacers and leave the fork tube longer to accommodate them? Where can I get extra spacers? Also, will raising the handlebars result in significantly more flex like in the GCN video?

Maybe consider a riser bar.

If I were you, I would choose the RF 10 from Light Cycling :
- Wider tire clearance
- Maybe a little more aero (with an analog shape)
- Riser bar available.

Thanks for the suggestion.
The R088 is available on Aliexpress also with a riser bar. In my opinion it looks better than the RF10/R099 because of the more elegant head tube. Also there is so much more user experience with the R088.

With the current coupons and options for savings on aliexpress, significantly cheaper than rf10 too I would think

...and it seems to be around 100g lighter. Whether the differences in aero/weight between R088 and R099 matter is another question.
