Hi everyone,
Im thinking about getting an integrated handlebar, but I’m not sure which models fit well. Could you share what integrated handlebars you are using on your R088?

The one that comes with the frame is fine, but it's a little short. I think a lot of us changed it to a longer expander (especially when running spacers)

I’m using a cane creek ancora as recommended further back in this thread. It’s nice and light and a bit longer than what came with the frame. It was easy to install however I can’t for the life of me get it back out in order to trim the steerer by 5mm.

I don't understand the difference between these two Lexon handlebars:

The first one is €147 from the Lexon Store, and the second one is €108, also from the Lexon Store. Are they the same product?

Hi, longtime listener, first time caller here. I have read this entire thread through at least a couple times now and it's been very helpful.

Just to add some more data points here – I ordered my own frame about a week and a half ago and it shipped today. Spcycle was responsive and helpful over Aliexpress messaging. I picked chameleon blue (glossy, size 54cm). First three photos attached here are what they sent me before they shipped (I asked them to share pics before it got packed). The last photo is admittedly not my photo (sorry if not allowed!), but a pic someone else posted of their Spcycle gravel frame in chameleon blue. I was undecided on color until I saw this – damn. All my other bikes are pretty plain and I thought this color looked sexy AF. Admittedly now, in regular light, like in the photos they sent me, I do not like this paint color as much (it leans very purple for me), but oh well. Really, will I ever be 100% satisfied with all my bikes? Lol...not sure. about that.

Anyway, can't wait to receive it. It's my first carbon bike although I have many (too many) others. I plan on building it up with Dura-Ace r9170 and some Tagoola wheels that should also be arriving next week.

One thing I will note – I use Rakuten frequently as an online shopping portal (free to use) and have it linked to my Amex. They happened to be running a 25x points back promo the day I ordered (they do this every now and then and I was waiting for this). I ended up getting enough Amex points from this one purchase to get a domestic air ticket (or whatever). Nice bonus! If you don't use Amex you can also have it convert to cash back.

Will post more pics once I have the frame in hand.

Yes that's the SPCycle chameleon blue - if it helps out I can take photos of it in other lighting scenarios. I'm still very happy with the colour - it's more blue in some lights and more purple in others.

I think with raw ud matte, the underlying carbon texture will have some sections that look flat black and other sections with fiber mesh. Raw ud glossy looks more like marble with varying fiber textures under a glossy clear coat.

I typically use clear nail polish with the glossy clear coat. It tends to hide blemishes quite well. Though I use this clear protection decal film on my frame. It blends well with the glossy clear coat and isn't noticeable whatsoever. Best to lightly apply it with a blow dryer or heat gun and it doesn't leave any adhesive residue when removing. I've tried the helicopter clear tape and I think that stuff sucks. It looks ugly and leaves residue when you remove it.

As a reminder, you can use gasoline to break down the residue in case it happens again with any other tape or protective film. Just don't leave it too much time over raw uncoated paint

Has anyone compared this frame against a reference western brand frame such as Specialized Tarmac SL7, Trek Emonda, Orbea Orca, Canyon Ultimate, Cannondale Supersix, etc?

I've read about 30 pages of this topic but haven't find a first hand comparison. Another user reported gassing out on a group ride against brand name bikes but that doesn't really say the bike can't transfer power. He could have been tired that day. Honestly, most people on this topic have been dropping great comments about the frame.

I actually think I first saw your bike posted on Reddit, when I was Googling examples of chameleon blue paint jobs. Probably like a lot of people on this thread, I was looking for more examples and also indecisive about choosing my own. Your bike is gorgeous and I'm glad to hear you're still happy with it! If you want to post more pics that would be nice but please don't feel like you have to, obviously it's too late for me to change my mind, haha.

Doubting whether or not to get their integrated handlebar with the frameset.

For those who got it with the bike......
1-What's it like?
2-Does it flex much?
3-What's the 130 drop like?
4- what's 9 degree angle like?
5- Also no flare at all, right?

It sucks a bit that the 38cm is only offered with 80/90 stem lengths.

Sorry a lot questions there. Hope someone can help me make up my mind.
