The rule of 105 is relevant even at relatively low speeds (>20 km/h). However, under certain conditions, other factors dominate.

In modern rims with wide external widths (>28mm), it seems using wider tires can benefit most people despite violating the rule of 105 (up to 32mm labeled width).

I would just like to pop in here and let everyone know I have been extremely happy with my Wave Carbon wheel set from Tagoola

I ride a lot
Bought them in July
Clocked approx 7500km on them and they're as true as the day I got them.

arrived yesterday. Got them mounted up today, still need sealant but I'll wait until spring before I add that. Thanks again Matter!

Good morning,
I purchased a pair of Tagoola AERO+ wheels on AliExpress, but they're currently removed from the site. I'm having problems with the ratchet because when I push the pedal, they make a strange clicking noise and the pedals spin freely. Has anyone had this problem with the lightweight hub they sell? Matter was helpful and sent me a video on how to repair it, open the hub, and check, but apparently there's no problem. They sent me a replacement wheel with a lightweight hub, but I still have the same problem after 80 km. Can you help me if this has happened to anyone?
I can't complain to Matter, but this isn't a viable option. I've currently wasted €700.

Do you have a picture or a video ? Is it a hub where you have to preload by screwing ?

two wheels and same problem seems highly unlikely. like previous poster, need a video.

I managed to do this myself. The noise you hear is more pronounced when climbing hills and when pushing. The wheels have been replaced, but the ultralight hub is still the same.

Open the hub and send a picture of the ratchet and components. Have you correctly preloaded the hub ?

Do you have a stand? If you put it on the stand and spin the cranks, will it do it? And in any gear or just small ring on cassette?

We have taken note of the wheel issue discussed in the forum and have confirmed a structural defect in the product.

To resolve this issue, we have officially recalled the original equipment wheelset through our European distributor. Simultaneously, we have directly contacted the user Superudy and offered him a carbon fiber spoked wheelset as an alternative, which Superudy has accepted. The replacement will be completed soon.
