2: I usually use the levers to insert the last 20cm of the tire... in this case, however, I can't even get up the first sidewall of the tire...very strange!  ::)
What did matter answer? and I have ordered the gp5000. sure from what I remember they were always tight tires but not so tight that you can't even get past one side. the pirelli are definitely more comfortable. Matter seems to be trying for the best.

1: The freehub says XDR, so theoretically it should be fine... but the cassette doesn't reach all the way to the bottom of the freehub (it stays about 8mm away).

I have already mount a Continental Grand Prix (not 5000 and not tubeless) without any problems.

Could you confirm that you bought the right dimension ? The GP 5000 exists in 650B and 700C. The 650 B is not correct (picture).

Matter didn't tell me anything about the GP5000S TR....let's just say he was more interested in the freehub body.

I've previously mounted GP5000 TL (theoretically more difficult to install) on Fulcrum R4 Carbon wheels and hadn't had of these problems....I only had to use the levers to insert the last 20cm.

I'll try again in the next few days...

In the end, the XDR freehub body works fine....having always used Shimano HG cassettes (which are pushed all the way in), I didn't know that tightening the XDR cassette makes it closer to the hub.

So, all that's left to do is try again.

Could we have some pictures or a video which shows your method when you try to install the tire ? Sometimes, use some soap might help.

This is the method I've been using for over eight years: first I insert the first side, then the second, using levers if necessary to raise the final part (I've often succeeded even without levers).

I usually use Schwalbe Easy Fit to seat a tubeless tire...I've never had to use it to install a tire on the rim, but I might try.

It is a personal preference. A lots of brands don't have it.

No, never needed to do that....do you think it might help the tire "stretch"?

Question 1: Has anyone using SRAM AXS groupsets had trouble installing the cassette?

Question 2: Does anyone use GP5000S TR 28mm tubeless tires?
I'm having a lot of trouble getting even the first sidewall of the tire up...I've never had this much trouble in the last 8 years.

I'm already in contact with Matter, but I'd like some feedback here on the forum as well.

Thanks

zero issues installing my sram cassette. 10-36 XG-1250

Yes, some degrees can make a difference (for exemple going from 5°C to 28°C).

OK, if we're talking about such significant temperature changes...but by keeping the tires indoors, the temperature is always fairly constant.
Thanks anyway.
