Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know that I managed to mount the GP5000S TR 28mm on the Tagoola DAO rims!
I had to use the Schwalbe Easy Fit and levers to get them up, but I finally did it!
Definitely the most difficult rim and tire combination I've ever encountered.
Once installed on the rim, the GP5000S TR beaded right away (I use the Schwalbe Tire Booster) and seem to hold pressure very well even without latex.
I checked the hubs to see if there was enough grease... they look fine externally, but I think I'll apply some grease (DT Swiss for Ratchet System) to the inside of the chainrings as well, and some white grease to the bearings.
Now all that's left to do is start assembling the frame and testing them!

I am kind of worried about my wheelset, it seems like it is stuck in transit for 10 days after taking quite some time after the customs clearance. I ordered the wheelset on 24th of August to Europe. Has anybody experienced something similar?

Just a short update on that, Matter kindly offered me to look into that, so I did contact Tagoola(/him) on Aliexpress on the 27th of September. He assured me everything is fine and it as usual with standard Aliexpress shipping. Which was totally fine with me as when I ordered the expected date for arrival was 18th Sep - 23rd Oct. Also I appreciated the good communication. However nothing happened until 7th of October and I decided to ask again[1]. I then got some answer I did not understand fully:

Due to customs policies, your package may be delayed in delivery. Please refer to the actual delivery time for details
Estimated Delivery Time: October 31st [2]
However, the actual delivery time, AliExpress responded that this order will be overdue by December 30, 2025
[I kindly asked them to clarify if it is expected in October or December]
The estimated time is October 31st. The specific shipping is handled by AliExpress, and I can only provide consultation.

Aliexpress wasn't helpful either in that matter.

So all in all this is not the best experience until now, a frame I ordered at the same time with Aliexpress standard shipping arrived on the 24th. Not to mention all the smaller parts that shipped in no time. I probably have to use the tires of another bike to finish my build and check if everything else is alright  .

[1] as the sorting, flight and customs process usually takes two weeks in Europe. So unless something happened the expected date would not be possible.
[2] estimated delivery time was 18th Sep - 23rd Oct when I ordered. I am not sure where they got that new date.

I bought from them with DPD shipping to greece so I wouldn't have to pay customs and after 10 days they are already very close to me. I believe I will have them in two days.

I just received it. They are beautiful. Μatter was excellent in communication.. I will do a review as soon as I install it.

wheels are very beutifull. the quallity is in top level. i install conti 5000. very difficult to put them . never install them straight from the box.
rear wheel is so so loud  . .. weight only 1180gr in 50mm

 have these wheels. I've ridden around 500 km with them. They ride great! Unfortunately, one of the front bearings is already going bad.
