Today I went to install disk brakes and grease the hubs etc. Well, the front wheel end cap is missing on the disk brake side. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
I msged Tagoola on Ali but would like to know if this is something I can easily pick up locally? Amazon maybe?

Are you sure that you don't remove it whith the plastic protection end cap ?

Checked the box, the plastic covers and the foam bags, one is missing.

Looking at ordering the 60mm Ultralights (23.5mm IW, 3.5mm carbon spoke). Any insights on whether it's worth going for the CEMA bearings over ENDURO?

Enduro will last longer I think.

Steel bearings will last you a long time compared to Ceramic bearings

Ordered a set of Ultralights on AliEx sale.

Messaged Matter to get 50F/60R combo which should come out at 1200g.

The positive reports  here and sale price was too good to miss.

Will now finally get Tideace CR068 built in next few months with a close to 6kg target.

I've been looking at EliteWheels Gravel sets, but the discounts (both AE and PayPal) seem to disappear overnight, plus pricing changes (granted these are currency fluctuations, but this affects the discount threshold in AUD).

The AERORAPTOR 40 ALL ROAD caught my eye, seems to be similarly specced to the Elite's SLR Gravel option?

Any issues with this wheelset? I don't particularly trust AE feedback system... Would you pick these or an Elite alternative?

Indecisive about the spoke selection too - would the CN AERO416 be a better option over CN AERO418 for mostly road and light gravel? Are these on par with the Pillar 1423?

I love so much my Tagoola wheels. Matter is always responsive and very helping.

You can ask him for the choice of the spoke.

Aeroraptor 50 mm with carbon spokes (paint less finish) - 1170 g.

Only a little ride of 40 km but I love them. I will make a longer review after more rides.

Appreciate your input - there's little feedback on these.

Just wondering if $300USD carbon wheels are that much "worse" than say $500USD wheels (both sourced from Ali)? I'm not racing and mostly ride pavement + light offroad (for offroad I have my XC). I guess the question is safety and reliability. And yes - I'd love to lose those stock 2kg Alu wheels!

Personnaly, I would go with Tagoola because they attach importance to reliability and safety.

I picked that exact model and Matter has been superb in terms of communication. I think this wheelset strikes a perfect balance between weight, rim width and depth as well as price.

Just a short update on that, Matter kindly offered me to look into that, so I did contact Tagoola(/him) on Aliexpress on the 27th of September. He assured me everything is fine and it as usual with standard Aliexpress shipping. Which was totally fine with me as when I ordered the expected date for arrival was 18th Sep - 23rd Oct. Also I appreciated the good communication. However nothing happened until 7th of October and I decided to ask again[1]. I then got some answer I did not understand fully:

Aliexpress wasn't helpful either in that matter.

So all in all this is not the best experience until now, a frame I ordered at the same time with Aliexpress standard shipping arrived on the 24th. Not to mention all the smaller parts that shipped in no time. I probably have to use the tires of another bike to finish my build and check if everything else is alright  :(.

[1] as the sorting, flight and customs process usually takes two weeks in Europe. So unless something happened the expected date would not be possible.
[2] estimated delivery time was 18th Sep - 23rd Oct when I ordered. I am not sure where they got that new date.

So the wheels arrived at the customs office on 28th or 29th after asking Aliexpress twice to speed up the shipping (apparently they have influence over this). The letter that the wheels arrived I got on the 4th of November. However I called the office on the 30th and asked the kindly for the package number, which worked.

The wheels came packaged okay, they were inside weight spec and they are build well for the price. The tubeless valves were not installed and even though I was told to get some spare spokes there weren't any inside the package. Overall not a good shipping and support experience, but the wheelset very good considering the price I think.

Is there anything tagoola offers that wolud rival the Elitewheels SLR Gravel (maybe also SLT)? At least 25mm rim width and hooked is mandatory for me, maybe 24.2mm if the price is better.
