I picked that exact model and Matter has been superb in terms of communication. I think this wheelset strikes a perfect balance between weight, rim width and depth as well as price.

It seems Tagoola don't have a website?

So the wheels arrived at the customs office on 28th or 29th after asking Aliexpress twice to speed up the shipping (apparently they have influence over this). The letter that the wheels arrived I got on the 4th of November. However I called the office on the 30th and asked the kindly for the package number, which worked.

The wheels came packaged okay, they were inside weight spec and they are build well for the price. The tubeless valves were not installed and even though I was told to get some spare spokes there weren't any inside the package. Overall not a good shipping and support experience, but the wheelset very good considering the price I think.

Is there anything tagoola offers that wolud rival the Elitewheels SLR Gravel (maybe also SLT)? At least 25mm rim width and hooked is mandatory for me, maybe 24.2mm if the price is better.

Tagoola is able to send you a replacment part in 10 days (depends on where do you live).

So one full season on these wheels. Very happy with them. No problems.

One question for others with them, have you found the free hub sound changed? I remember at first it being crazy loud. Folks would comment on it on group rides. But lately I've found it a lot quieter. I'm sure this is nothing to worry about, but has me curious, something to look at/into?

The sound depends on the quantity and thickness of the grease.

Maybe not if there is some dust. Have you tried.to clean the ratchet ?

Nope, nothing cleaned/taken apart other than swapping wheelsets for gravel rides. I'll have a look over the winter months and give everything a once over.

A small issue with m Tagoola all-road wheels. The surface coating of the rims suck. I find them hard to clean. What might require a damp cloth to wipe down for my other wheelsets, I have to use an alcohol spray and several passes to wipe the Tagoola wheels from tubeless sealant or stray grease.

Did you manage to clean the wheels? When mounting the tires, I used water and detergent to make it easier to mount, and there were some slight streaks. What's the best way to clean it? It does seem to be harder to remove than, say, Elite wheels.

Had similar issues.
GT85 worked well for me on a microfibre cloth.

I use isopropyl alcohol and a microfibre cloth.
