It looks very good. What exact shade of purple is that? I could imagine the frame being completely in that color.

So my frame has arrived and the build will start in coming weeks. X65 Frame in XXL (560) - ordered early December - arrived last week (4th Feb 26) So about 8 weeks in all. No customs or duty when delivered to Ireland.

I got some Helix Elite Wheels to go with it, a Pass Quest Chainring and Magene Power Meter. Plan is a X1 setup as its a build specifically for a 24hr race I'm doing in summer and its laps around a car race track, so no climbing. Also probably just gonna use cable brakes connected to ZTTO or ONRI hydrolic callipers paired with LTWOO GR9 1x 11 (because I already have it) - simple and basic but thats all I need for this project. A cable based system might be easier to repair on the day if I have an issues.
The facing on the BB and the brake mounts seems a lot better than the last frame I got (GR201) but I haven't actually fully bolted everything on yet and gone riding so time will tell a better story.
I'm not a big fan of the saddle mount system, I'm sure I'll get used to it, but straight away there is no way the RYET saddle I bought for this build will fit. No matter what I tried their is no enough room between the saddle rail and the saddle to fit the upper part of the clamp system.
So thats the inital thoughts. Paint job is very good almost all over, but woudln't pass QC at a high end brand. A few aeras could be better but not enough for me personally to be bothered - you kinda get what you pay for I guess. And no one is realisticly gonna notice in day to day use.
I'm gonna do the livery on the downtube myself as I didn't want what I'm putting there to be there permanently after I'm fnished the race in the summer.

Some silver circualr shims arrived with it that fit the steering tube perfectly - but I'm not sure where they are supposed to go. SO if anyone can shed any light that would be great.
I'll post a pic of all bits and pieces that came with later.

Hey mate there should be two saddle parts one for smaller diameter saddle rails and one for larger, happened to me but I checked the contents and found the part and my Ryet saddle fits! If you didn’t get one, email the seller mate.

I'll have another look - there were two adapaters, I though one was for round bars and one for oval. I tried both but just not enough clearance in the saddle. I'll check again tommorow and take some pics. I think there are a lot of varities of those Ryet Saddles.

Another little update on my build that might help someone.

So for the event I'm buiding this bike for (a 24hr event) I wanted to fit my Redshift Stem and Bars for a bit of comfort. That meant using a different headset to accomodate a standard stem but allow the internal cables to exit through the headset. On the GR201 I built last year the Ritchy Headset system worked a treat. I tried to reuse that on this build but the depth of the headtube where the bearing goes is shallower on this frame than the GR201 so the Ritchy system left a big gap as the C ring was too tall.
I ordered a Zitto system that does the same thing but had a shorter C Ring.
Hope that makes sense - might help someone wanting to do something similar.

Been out on a few rides with the final build now and it’s fantastic. I’ve had no issues other than some brake rub due to the usual brake facing issues (same as last frame I got from
TanTan) some patience and some minor adjusting (filing the paint) and it gets sorted. But other than that I can’t complain. Gets up to speed real easy and holds it nicely. It’s a quirky build with the 1X and Redshift Suspension Stem and Kitchen Sink bar but that’s just for this one off event and then I’ll stick the integrated cockpit on & convert to 2x.
But I’m loving the build, the ride is smooth and no crazy noises or rattling coming from anywhere. I’ve found it very comfy, for me it’s that sweet spot right between relaxed geometry but bordering on aggressive for a more aero position but not so much that it would cripple you.
The handle bar is also great for the hand grip comfort and amount of hand positions you can adopt on a long ride.
Very happy with this one. Just the decal on the down tube to do and rewrap the bar with the correct tape. I might buy new hoses as the brake hoses from the donor bike are just a tad short - which is why I didn’t use the new bar tape on the bars - might just fit new ones to finish it off right.

Leaving a mark here to keep the forum updated, also ordered this frame.

Went for size XXL/56, with a 380-120mm bar and custom paint. Lead time i was told is 20-25 days + painting 1 month + shipping (15-30 days).

All in all with the paint +"DPD shipping" the conversion rate ended up being 720 eur all-in-all.

Got the first pictures of my frame and I must admit my first reaction is that I'm a bit dumbfounded...

The first note to add was that yesterday now long after the order was placed and agreed upon they told me that 380*120mm stem is not availiable and I'd have to choose between 400 or 420 - not a big deal I figured as I was planning on switching it out for another handlebar with an even longer stem anyways..

Now today I've received the pictures of my frame and for some unknown reason the seraph logo seems to have been placed so high on the downtube - to the point where it looks odd.

I will keep the forum updated on how this plays out from here..
