E-gravel bike / frame
« on: March 17, 2025, 03:27:28 AM »
Hello, just new here

Since I have a limitation in my legs (partial paralysis) I am looking for a carbon e-gravel bike.

Searching a frame to mount a Bosch Performance Line CX motor (85 Nm) or other, because I need this sort of torque.

In addition, it is important to have a 31.6 mm seatpost, so that I can mount a dropper post of at least 150 mm with control on my thumb, because I cannot stand on my toes.

Electronic shifting is preferred (Shimano?)
I would be very happy with a solution.

Thx a lot,
Luc (Belgium)

I seldom run across a carbon gravel E-bikes on Aliexpress.   (Some offerings if you are looking for a Carbon Hardtail 29er E-bike frame.)

Look at Light Carbon Bikes or 4leaf.   (Majority of Chinese offerings use Bafang motors, rather than Bosch.)

The only full e-gravel bike I came into is the 4-Leafs e-gravel complete bike from their site last year, full carbon -egravel with mid-drive bafang motor and chinese groupsets. Asking price was usd$2500. But that bike is no longer on their site this year.

Yamaha had an e-gravel bike in their e-bike lineup.   They abandoned the market last year, and I heard there were a few hundred still in containers sitting around the USA then.   Saw some at my local Yamaha motorcycle shop going for 1/3 of the original msrp!  Nearly snagged one since they were so cheap.

Walmart is releasing Ozark Rebel e-gravel bike and e-mountain bike next week. Priced at $1298. It has quality components and build, giving more bikes than the price point. This will give the competitors a good run for their money.
