Anyone know if the axle can be swapped and they can be used on a MTB? I would love to put these on my kids next build.

Cheers

Just received the MAX crankset from Aliexpress.

The product description on Aliexpress is actually incorrect and still lists the weight as 360g. Before buying the seller mentioned that the actual weight would be around 330g+- what I can now confirm. Pretty nice to see it not being that far off Elilee X310 or Cybrei.

Still waiting for my Stone chainrings to arrive before I can mount everything together.

Can you share more info on this crankset? Brand because I do not find Max as a brand in Aliexpress.  Any link possible?   Thanks.

Posted in the Riro discussion as well, but just a heads up to everyone who uses this style of crankset. The internal spline lock ring that holds the 8mm bolt in the crankset can become loose. It is also reverse threaded so it seems to be very hard to source a replacement. Mine came loose and I lost it during a ride, so there is now some play in the crankset. Make sure these are tight! Also, if anyone has any ideas where I could source a replacement please let me know.

The seller should have spares. If not just ask any of the carbon crank sellers on AliExpress, just need to measure up the external and internal (ie threads) diameter to make sure it all fits.

It seems the store that sold them is offline. Also the direct link in my order history does not work anymore.

Hi all!
Cross posted in classifieds but I am selling my Riro carbon crankset. 165mm length crank and DUB spindle. I have a 130BCD spider on there with a 54t pass quest chainring. The crankset has a few hundred miles and the chainring is brand new. I am selling because it does not mesh well with my Sram AXS group-set and I am caving in and buying the E1 crank arms from Sram. I will get you a shipping quote if you message me. $250 OBO for the whole thing.

Is there a big difference between the different 110bcd x4 spiders or merely visual? (apart from the carbon one of course)

I am looking into getting this crankset below and could use some help making sure that it is compatible with my bike.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009549219633.html

My bike is a 2017 Giant Defy and has a BB86 Pressfit bottom bracket. 24mm Spindle diameter. 86.5mm length frame shell, shell diameter of 41mm.

I will also need a new chainring to go with this crank, any advice on which double chainring (50-34T) to get?

Thanks!

Yea that will work. Make sure to select the one with the 4 bolt 110bcd spider. You will need to use the included spacers to adjust for your BB width.
For chainrings, Stone is what I have and are good but in way are they Ultegra or DuraAce quality in shifting. You want light and cool looking get those, otherwise, stick with shimano.

Thanks Crazyravr for confirming and the info.
For the Stone chainrings, I assume this would work:

Yeap. Or these from Riro. Just decide whether you want to carbon rings or aluminum. If aluminum, maybe look for ultegra rings on a used market or AE.
