ICAN TT017 TT Bike Build

Does this frameset come with different riser height blocks and/ or angled spacers? Really tempted with this frame, but the possibility of a one off monoriser system gives me cause for concern. What all came in the box when it was delivered?

Not really mentioned. I have the DPD shipping details received from them and yesterday it should be arrived in Europe. No waiting for the details of the DPD tracking.
I must say they are very responsive and helpfull via email. If everything arrives smoothly. 100% satisfied about customer service! Now...waiting...

What size do you recommend for someone 178cm tall with a saddle height of 75cm? I normally wear a medium.

Starting the build...still waiting for my Rotor BB...;-). Winow Extensions also ordered but that can take more time to arrive so will use my current extensions.

What is your plan for mounting the Winow extensions?

I guess on using the original plate but remove the parts with a saw that are no longer used anymore. Not reall sure yet, maybe also look at the method that was used here in this topic before. Keep you informed on the process...

Frame and the monoriser look incredible. Really having a tough time deciding between this and the Velobuild TT frame. My main concerns are the slack seatube angle, which changes with saddle position, and being able to adjust the angle on the front end. What are you planning on doing to get the right angle for the tt bars?

Standard it has 10° angle with the monoriser and with a 15° angled riser from winow for my extensions I will have 25° of angle...

Difficult decision between this and the VB-TT-023. The VB has more in-depth ride reviews, specifically stating it is stable in fast descents. It also has more options for customized cockpits, due to the stem design (e.g. a Winow 37cm base bar with their new aerobars) compared to the ICAN's basebar which is only available in 42cm.  I like the monoriser of this ICAN TT017, I really love their wheelsets, and I like the deeper section fork that conceals the front brake caliper.

Both are similarly priced, even after custom painting, both can take the Winow aerobars with minimal mods.

Both appear to within ~200g of each other when fully built up.

Both have good customer service, at least initially.


For me, it comes down to actual ride reviews, and the VB has more of those, yet I keep coming back to this TT017.... but I need to buy one soon to prep it for Feb '26 race start.

Deep down I know I might end up buying both frames, but the question is which one to buy first?

TT017 is UDH.

You could argue that it is a modern and updated standard. So far not relevant options for derailleurs using that standard, maybe in the future…

I also expect VB will release a updated frame down in the road…

For now, I believe these are the best TT frame options from China.

Me hab escrito hoy diciendo que en mi talla M, si quiero el cuadro estándar, tendría que esperar hasta marzo. Que si que tienen otro que es más ligero. Me ha mandado un vídeo en el que se ve como flexa el tubo cerca del pedalier, al presionar con los dedos, pero que esto es así, en versión ligera. Conocíais este modelo más ligero?
