Groupset: Ltwoo eR9 2x ver. 1 (I own two)
Would you recommend? Only on sale and if you know what you are doing ($350 USD)
where bought? Bought 2 groupsets, 80 Design Store (highly recommended) / LTwoo Factory Choice Store (only buy here if you know what you're doing)
mileage (roundabout): Several thousand miles/kilometers
flaws?: Highly recommended to protect battery connectors with dielectric grease, liquid tape, rubber cement, etc. Swapped out pulley wheels for Ultegra wheels, FD shows lots of brassing, FD shift buttons can easily be pressed on accident. Some batteries do not give accurate charge readouts. Also there are several silent hardware updates, components are running different firmware. Despite the flaws and if you're able to figure it out, it does the job. LTwoo app is solid with real-time adjustability and feedback. 10/11/12 speed cassette flexibility and replaceable batteries are a big selling point for me. Version 3 seems to address many of the issues of ver. 1, unfortunately it will be now difficult to obtain for US customers.
Groupset:LTwoo eGR 1x original cage length max 46t cassette (silent update on cage now allows max 50t cassette)
would you recommend? Yes especially on sale ($300 USD)
where bought? LTwoo Factory Choice Store (Only buy if you know what you're doing)
mileage (roundabout): Several thousand miles/kilometers
flaws?: Highly recommended to protect battery connectors with dielectric grease, liquid tape, rubber cement, etc. The eGR shifters have better haptics than eR9 ver. 1. RD is very sturdy, with minimal chain slap with quick shifting. Same LTwoo app for tuning, though they need to implement tuning profiles for different 1x cassettes. Gravel bikes have to deal with XD, HG and MS freehubs, so more issues with fine tuning across different freehub platforms.
