Upgrade elite wheels

Hi everyone

I ride now for 4 years on elite ent 50mm wheels
Now i have to replace the bearings so a good moment to tell my wife i need new wheels

Is it worth to upgrade to the elite edge wheels or somthing else my budget is +/-€550

I wouldn't. I don't think you will get much of a performance/quality boost from a ~500€ wheel compared to a ~300€ wheel. Things look different if you are looking at ~800€+ but otherwise I wouldn't bother and just go with the cheaper option.

I agree that you won't find much performance improvement with a new wheelset, unless you go for something with wider internal width for wider tires. Even then, you may only notice a little improved comfort.

Just replace the stock bearings with good quality bearings and ride on.

I'd just replace the bearings. Even on my sub-1100g wheels, it's not that much faster up the hills. Unless you're racing or just have an itch to upgrade, your current wheelset should be decent with new bearings.
