There is a 52T max RD in the 2026 catalogue to be found here https://www.sensahsmart.com/jszl. It's touted as 13 speed as is the 11-52 cassette shown below.

I've been running the Sentyeh groupset for the past few months and happy to answer questions.

Only the 14-speed setup requires a UDH frame

13-speed and 12-speed can be run on any standard frame/hanger and you can use pretty much any cassette SRAM, Shimano, Campy 11,12,13s as long as the rest of the drivetrain (chain, chainring, freehub body) is compatible.

Someone has already confirmed that the whaleroad app is not compatible with the Sentyeh groupset.

Correct. Whaleroad groupsets are not compatible with Sentyeh app and vice versa and both apps are virtually the same. It appears the Sentyeh global app has released in a lot of countries so far, but not all.

So, the most reasonable choice for now would be to use a 13-speed cassette and chain, or else wait.

A good, lightweight, affordable 13-speed cassette that starts with a 10T cog? And a chain—preferably flat-top?

Correct me if im wrong but i believe it's not possible to fit a 10t cog on a HG freehub body? I think only XD, Micro spline and N3W are able to.

I don't believe the Whaleroad set is even out yet? Only a few sets sent to influencers for testing so far. But if i had to guess, i think they will be offering an option to buy the small set(without crankset, cassette etc).

I personally think your best bet would be to wait for Whaleroad to release. I dont think the Sentyeh groupset has no international warranty support. If something breaks and IF they agree to offer you a replacement(which its possible they wont), you're likely going to have to pay for shipping for the replacement.

It has a special design and it's UDH/Transmission compatible only, the 10t is integrated into the lockring.
