could be related...deeper wheels, aero bottles, aero frame area all going to make you more sensitive to side winds.  and if it's on descents, with your weight back on the setback seatpost and slightly shorter stem, you'll be unweighting that aero front wheel even more...

I had balanced the 58mm wheels when getting wobble, did not solve it. Currently on 50s that are not balanced and it is better. I was under the impression balancing tubeless is less helpful because of the sealant. Maybe it doesn't hurt to do it to the 50s but that will be if the wobble comes back as I work up to faster speeds.

I do not doubt the wheel is connected. That is why I moved down from 58 to 50. Once I get the bike feeling good on the 50, I will throw the 58 back on to test. I was talking about balanced vs unbalanced in that response.

I think the front end is currently sensitive to steering input with my weight farther back with the short stem, like you said. I am hoping with the bike fit I had, the small positional changes will shift the weight. Otherwise I will try something else with the fitter. Partly why I pointed out in my post earlier when I got up to 60km,it was sheltered roads and to try with some crosswind will be interesting.

on a side note, when i went to drop off my frame and parts for the build this weekend, i noticed there was a XDS road bike on the work stand.  it's the first one i'd seen in real life. apparently the shop was starting to carry them (sold out their entire initial batch). 

a couple of mechanics noticed my frame and came over to ask about it and light carbon.  definitely bike shops are more aware if not out right involved with selling and servicing chinese brand bikes now.

Just an FYI, I ordered my frameset with custom paint on April 16th and today I received pictures of the painted frameset. So that is 10 weeks and 4 days. Chloe says it will ship tomorrow

Same. I ordered a week earlier than you but had top tube bag mounts included which added a week.  Looking forward to finally getting the frameset.

Frame arrived today UK ordered on April 11th.  stock matt black in size 47 with a straight post and a 380/90 bar
frame 1110g with is more than ~6% more not the -/+ 4% they advertise
fork 450g with axle
Bar 285g
post 205g

that's a bummer about the weight, especially since matte black should be the lightest.  that bar weight is impressively light though.  maybe cut the post if you don't need all of it?

i honestly didn't even bother weighing mine.  i figured it's an aero frame and i got it painted.  knew it'd be at least 200gms heavier than my current rim brake bike.  hoping the whole "aero is everything" is true and noticeable when i finally ride it.

Is anyone using plastic computer mount with computer (Karoo) and Insta X5? I am wondering if the mount holds the weight of both. I don't want to mount under the bar on default GoPro mount, but add adapter right under computer interface.

I use the handlebar on my titanium gravelbike with an karoo 2 and a plastic mount on single trails. Everthing seems fine

Has anyone sprung for the titanium mount, worth ordering?

Well maybe the extra grammage is going to make it stronger.

i'd be wary. it's nice they include one but just holding the stock plastic one, it feels quite flimsy. if you do, keep a leash on those expensive devices. might look at an alloy aftermarket one, or consider ordering the titanium one from lightcarbon. 

i've stuck with k-edge for my other computer mounts and they have been solid. but even i got a little nervous going up from a 500 to 1100 lumen light that was heavier and adding more torque to the mount.

yes, i got the titanium mount - for $10 it was a no brainer.  superlight and while i haven't tested it, it's titanium so wouldn't expect it to snap or break. what i didn't expect was i thought it was $10 upcharge, but they still included the plastic/stock mount.  similarly, i asked for an extra derailleur hanger.  i got 3 in the box, so i guess they include 2 by default.  that was nice to see.  i did pay $10 for an extra down-tube storage bag in order to potentially use the 2nd bag to store a vest/jacket/gel.

and i paid $70 for the cema ceramic bb.  that was upcharge i guess, since there wasn't another bb in the box.  if i had to do it over, maybe would've just saved up for a chris king one.  but willing to see how long this cema ceramic lasts.
