Honestly, I don't see anything in the pictures that I would worry about if I were you. It looks fine and appropriate for the price 🤷🏻‍♂️

Build went great. Weight: 7.1kg

Size 50 unpainted (~60-120 grit from the factory).
Derailleurs, Shifters, Calipers: Sram Rival E1
Crankset: Sram Red D1 165, 35/48
Cassette: 11-36 Ali
Rotors: Shimano Dura Ace
Wheelset: XMCS CS-D50CU-36, 16/18 5mm bladed
Tires: GP5000 S TR 32c for the weighin and testing. Installing Michelin Pro 5 TLR next week
Stem: 100mm Aliexpress -17deg
Bars: Lambda X Wing
Pedals: Speedplay Comp w/ J&L Spindles
Seat: Westbiking Carbon Saddle. 

Eddy current gauged to find the areas with thick resin (>20 mils) and sanded down to 5 mils & 400 grit. Recleared matte equivalent to SWorks RTP frames I've fondled. Frame and Fork weights through the process respectively: 972 -> 948 -> 953. 424-> 418 -> 421.

I can probably get to 6.9kg refinishing to raw carbon and cutting the seatpost, going from sealant to tpu tubes, and installing a tiny cassette, but it probably ceases being an all road, all climbs, long distance tank of a bike.

LIGHTCARBON waterslide decals are different logos than everyone else has LOL.
Didnt have tape and hoods installed for the picture since I was replacing them due to a crash on the previous bike. They're present for the weigh-in.

Ported over all the hardware from my Winspace T1550. Pedaling and sprint stiffness visibly higher when looking down riding on the trainer - as expected since the T1550 is a T800 carbon noodle bike. No other differences of note at equivalent saddle and bar positions.

I love the storage size and its no-bag aesthetic outcomes for the bike. My reference for in-bike storage is canyon endurace which is l insultingly small.

T1550 is not supposed to be stiff ? 😅

I am looking for you to make an outside ride in order to confirm that the LCR is stiffer than the T1550.
Also curious about your average speed at the same wattage.

thank you for your estimation, that reassures.
I have checked the forks of my other bikes and couldn't find any similar characteristics.
I ruled out overlapping because it's curved / not straight, but I could be wrong here.

it might be too careful, but especially a breaking fork is my personal nightmare.
But I got no experience with frames from CN directly.

By the way, someone here was looking for titanium replacement thru‑axles—did you ever find any? I've been searching as well but haven't had any luck. The LC ones are already light enough, so I'm thinking I might just order another set while they're still available.

I have also checked and have not found anything that matches exactly. I considered messaging some sellers on Ali Express to see if they have/get/make an option to match our spec. But never did, as I was only trying to price out axles and did not want to waste the sellers time as I would not buy the axles yet. Maybe I'll try that once ready to buy them.

Has anyone installed a bigrock carbon crankset (with 24mm spindle) on this frame?

I can't find the spindle length spec of this crankset. Will it be long enough?

 I've found a Miche T47 85.5-92mm for 24mm spindle that should work.  Are there other BB's worth considering? I wouldn't mind saving some extra € on a good alternative

You're sanding the frame over 20-25g 🤔
My size 50 weighs 999g with a matte finish 🤷🏻‍♂️

The sanding part might save 20g, but to me it looks like his preferred clear coat is only a few grams and saves 25g, too. I support the project 🫡

Jim sent me a picture of the unpainted 47cm frame. He said clear coat would add 30g and logos 15g. (No gear hangers)

I ordered my frame at the beginning of November, and the quoted lead time was about 1.5 months, so delivery was expected around mid-December.

When I hadn’t heard anything by then, I contacted them and was told that it’s currently peak season. The updated estimate is now the end of the month, meaning late January.

So if you’re planning to order, keep these lead times in mind. Personally, I’m hoping to start the new season with this bike in March, so I’m crossing my fingers that it arrives just in time.

I ordered a 56 in raw matt in the first week of November. It was supposed to be in stock, but after payment, it wasn’t (maybe a mistake). Production should have take 45 days as of then, which means the frame would be ready before Christmas!
Beginning of December I asked about a the production date and potential shipping and got the following feedback:
“After the completion of the last production batch, the number of qualified units was insufficient, so we are waiting for the completion of a new batch of frame blanks.”
This added another 35 days on top 

I’m not convinced with the customer service as they are not proactive at all. You need to ask and chase them in every update - even if you already send arround 1000$ that’s not very professional.

the RT-MT800  i bought for the rear is bent and always rubs at the same point even after rotating its mounting position,  is it worth trying to bend it back? for now i stuck the rotor from my gravel bike on, its pretty much built now i just need to wax the chain in the morning unfortunatly its been really icey the last few days and now its snowing

I recently mounted a brand new disc and have the same problem, but I only have to bend it back as you says and now it doensn't rub anymore (I used the park tool DT-2.2: https://www.parktool.com/en-int/product/rotor-truing-tool-dt-2-2?category=Brakes ).

My brand new €50 SRAM Centerlock X brake disc is also rubbing in one spot at the rear 😬 Aligning the rear brake caliper is quite tricky 🙄
I also bent the brake disc and now it works.

I think I also need your help regarding the frame size I should order. I'm 1.85m and have a insame lenght of 88 or 88.5cm.

I would opt for a 58 size. Would you agree with me? Attached a picture from bike-stats.de (size 56/58) where I have compared my current frame I'm riding as a road bike for bikepacking, TT, bike2work, etc. since about 4 years with 20000 km so far. Pretty happy with it.

I'm running my TanTan with about 5cm spacers below and a 9cm stem.

finished, i just need some nice weather to fine tune the shifting. actual weight is about 8.3 without pedals, i guess id need carbon cranks anda much better wheelset to compare with some of the builds people have posted happy with the build for what it cost though
