I inquired about a chrome silver into glossy raw carbon and Carol said it might be possible a few months ago. She also said top tube mounts were not possible so clearly things changed over time.

So not possible anylonger? If so, did she explained why not longer possible?

An other question is about the bars width. My shoulder are 400, so I must order a 400 or a380 as the measurement is taken in the middle of the bars ?

Good morning,

Seatpost offset (0, 15, or 25mm) refers to how far the seatpost head—where you attach the saddle—is set back.

In other words, it is the distance between the center of the seatpost tube and the center of the saddle clamps.

To determine which one is best for you, the ideal approach is to have a professional bike fit. This small difference (which positions you further forward or backward) will influence your knee position relative to the pedal spindle when the crank is at the 3 o'clock position. It also affects your overall reach and position relative to the handlebars.

Regarding handlebar size, while the literature suggests what you mentioned, the current trend is that many riders are now using even narrower bars...

Generally 2cm shorter than shoulder width is fine I would go with 38cm. And remember to measure from the bones (google how) and not the whole shoulder width.

The chrome silver fading into glossy black (similar to the seka spear chronos) is part of LC's optional templates. To save a bit of weight and because I like the look of raw carbon, i asked if it can transition into raw carbon instead it black paint but Carol said that it might not be possible to customize that. Since i'm not ready to place my order yet, I didn't really push her to confirm.

It's arrived! Took a bit of a punt on the paint; Is it blue? Is it green? It's so preeetty!  Looks really tidy, paint is excellent, contact points have been nicely faced and everything was really packed. Looking forward to getting it built!

No I just popped the handlebars on directly to get a quick photo - will build it with at least a couple of spacers to start with (I'm not that flexible!)

Thank you and all the other persons who have answered me, that's cristal clear for me now.

And now I have an other question, does it mean that it is not possible to put the saddle backward or forward once you choose a saddle offset to have the right distance when your pedal is at 3oclock ? Is it better to choose 15mm offset to have more possibilities?

It depends on so many factors.
How long the saddle tails are.
What sort of saddle you’re using
How long your femur’s are
Weight distribution on the bike.

That why a bike fit is important. If you don’t want to do that, just buy both 0 and -15 and experiment
