Ah that was me! Hadn't posted my build here yet, but was honored to receive a fast bike approval from the Nero boys, and very proud of how the build turned out! Though I think they likely accidentally thought light carbon and light bicycle were the same company, the names are pretty similar to be honest haha.

The bike specs:
size 56 in deep ocean blue
380 x 100 HBR17
SuperCaz bar tape
Shimano Ultegra 12 Speed DI2, 52/36 x 11/34
Light Bicycle Turbo 50 mm wheelset (25 mm internal, 34.5 mm external) built with Sapim CX Ray Steel Spokes and DT Swiss 350 hubs.
Continental GP5000 30 mm front, 32 mm rear, TPU tubes
Cannondale aero bottles
Magene Teo P515 power meter with 165 mm carbon cranks
Bikone bottom bracket (standard steel bearings)
Silca hot waxed chain (with an endurance chip for convenience)
Shimano ultegra pedals
Ryet 3D printed saddle

Build weight: 7.6 kg with pedals/mounts/cages

I'm about to order this frame with delivery to USA (Texas).. and have a quote for shipping as follows: "delivery cost is USD 151 for a pair of wheels and USD182 for a set of frame, USD 100 is the local remote delivery cost for 2 parcels"

So for the frame: shipping charge is $232.. ($182 + $50)
and for a wheelset: shipping charge is $201.. ($151 + $50)
So total shipping charge for a frame and wheelset is $433.  I had initially hoped for a reduced combined shipping fee, but the box sizing requiring two seperate shipments makes sense.

So my main question is.. has others from the US been charged the additional $50 'local remote delivery' fee for a frame (or wheelset)?
(And I do not live in a remote location.. I get UPS, Fedex, and Amazon deliveries often with 1-2 day deliveries.)

The base shipping charge seems inline with what others who have posted about their quoted costs on this forum.. but I don't remember seeing an addional 'remote' shipping fee mentioned.

(and just a note.. this quote is from November '25, so not sure if this is shipping fee is still current.  Was going to request updated quote before ordering.

It's not going to be a deal breaker, but just curious if this is a common charge when ordering from china.

It's arrived! Took a bit of a punt on the paint; Is it blue? Is it green? It's so preeetty!  Looks really tidy, paint is excellent, contact points have been nicely faced and everything was really packed. Looking forward to getting it built!

Even better was the news of an updated, lighter storage panel. Always thought the original was too heavy.
Would be a nice little upgrade if I could piggyback on anyones UK order in the next few months to save on crazy shipping costs.

The chrome silver fading into glossy black (similar to the seka spear chronos) is part of LC's optional templates. To save a bit of weight and because I like the look of raw carbon, i asked if it can transition into raw carbon instead it black paint but Carol said that it might not be possible to customize that. Since i'm not ready to place my order yet, I didn't really push her to confirm.

What is the total build weight, if you have it? Either with pedals/mount/cages or without.

The storage compartment lid is made of aluminum and weighs approximately 55g. What's different about the new version?
