For the folks who have ordered, what's the best way to communicate with LightCarbon? I'm getting ready to pull the trigger.

Also, are the Hambini QC levels a real thing? Do you ask LightCarbon to quote the price, for example, for the highest QC level?

Finished the assembly on my frame without any issue 

First ride yesterday and got  issues that were discussed on this forum.
Integrated storage door that tend to open (as I was aware I did check regularly to not loose it during the ride).
After the ride I noticed that the small screw of the closing mechanism needed to be retightened. If this occur again I will add some threadlocker on it.
By safety I add a strap to maintain the door in case of problem : once the issue will be solved, I'll remove it.
I also have the saddle tilt and don't find a way to use my torquewrench to ensure the 16Nm. I tried to tighten it as strong as I can and will see.

First ride impression need to be confirmed with the right tire (I have ordered some 32 mm) : I installed temporarily some 28 mm tires but have some 32 mm in order (on my previous bike I have some 32 mm so of course the confort is not the same).
Anyway I noticed that I was much more confident with this bike in the downhill.
Still a big fan of the raw carbon glossy finish

Very nice!  Jim may get a chuckle when you order because he and I went back-and-forth on color swatches until we settled on a very similar color to yours.  Ask him to see the color YS 2280-1.  That should get you close to what you’re thinking.

What is the Hambini QC level you are mentioning? There is no tiered QC pricing, if that is what you are implying.  LC has fully integrated QC procedures to address the few stray fibers found in the Tracevelo unboxing video.  See previous posts on this topic.  LC seems to have been completely responsive to address all QC issues, and it applies to all bikes and components such as the loose water bottle cage and the seatpost slippage.

I made my order in early November and received the frame on January 3rd in size 58. The build went really well and I really cant nitpick anything. I replaced the headset bearings with Enduro stainless steel bearings and went for a Wheels MFG bb. The wheels are Elite Pro 2.0 with a 24mm inner width, and I currently have 32mm GP5000s. I put Ultegra Di2 groupset on it with 11-34T cassette, 170MM cranks, 50-34T chainring. Thanks everyone for all the posts and info along the way.

Nice build love the colourway. I'm waiting on mine now and want to get the wheels mfg bb too. Which one do you have?

That's from 2024. I'm not sure how it addresses the question of tiered QC, which isn't a thing.

These are the prices I was told at the end of January 2026:

No color painting (only apply the decal): USD 100/set
Classic Series: USD 120 per color, USD 140 for two colors per frame
Chameleon Series: USD 140 per color, USD 160 for two colors per frame
Crystal Effect Series: USD 180 per color, USD 200 for two colors per frame
