Hello, it's just because I've cut the tube a bit too thick and I'd prefer to put a thinner top expander than cutting the tube again with only 1/2mm to cut off.

You can grind carbon amazingly well. I use a reinforced cutting disc for my rotary device. That's how I fix if I have the same issue.

Second issue: speed wobbles. When taking both hands off the bars at speed (maybe around 30 km/h, didn’t check), the front end wobbles pretty aggressively. Needed to grab the bars immediately to avoid what could have been a catastrophic wipeout 😅 Definitely sketchy.

Also noticed a rattling sound somewhere on the bike. I suspect the storage cover, but I’ll need to investigate. I like a quiet bike.

have you checked again ? those are very important issues .

Finally my build is complete.

Weight is 8.5kg with pedals, varia radar and elemnt bolt (like it is on photos) witch is something like 300g lighter than my Aeroad with same config, I doubt I will be able to feel that, but that was pleasant surprise

what do you think about riding and in comparison with branded frames ?

Loving the bike so far, but the downtube compartment lid (v2?) fell off today and left a deep gash in the paint. 

riding on road ? which is your weight ?

$1024?  that's definitely a jump.  must be the new post-Shanghai bike show price.  they must be getting a lot more interest from all the social media exposure and inundated with orders.  price-demand curve in action.

i'm hoping to get mine by mid june (approx 2 mo from order). 

got their LC 53DB wheelset i ordered with the frame already (approx 1 mo after order), last week.  looks great, weight is accurate (1350gm for 50mm), 30mm specialized sworks turbo tires mount easily and are 30mm measured.  cassette body is a blingy gold color, not that anyone will ever see it. 54tooth ratchet hub is super loud. might try finding at hollow-type 18T ratchet to quiet it down.  i have left over solid dt swiss 18t ratchets but the LC comes with a single spring and hollowed out ratchets so couldn't get the old dt swiss ratchets to fit right.

I do sit on the back of the saddle, so I agree trying to shift it forward/up is a free way to test. I also took 5mm spacer out. Lets hope the slightly greater drop and further forward COG helps. Possibly ordering an inline post and longer bar in the future.

I kept it to smaller hills this weekend, just to test. I got up to 55km without wobbles on the alloy shallow wheel. Going to put the deeper carbon wheel on and restest. Not sure which fix would have solved it, as I changed a few things. If it comes back, at least I know it is the front wheel.

For those who installed a Shimano Front Derailleur (Di2), did you have to use the "support plate" (image below) on the "braze-on" mount, or is it ok if the screw is directly in contact with the mount (not the frame)?

EDIT: I'm asking this because, as you can see in the picture of this LCR018-D frame below, the braze-on mount is quite wide. The derailleur's support screw will rest perfectly on the metal mount itself and won't touch the carbon frame. I've read that in this specific case, the adhesive plate is unnecessary. Can anyone confirm?

Shayzzz: Yeah, you dont need it, as long as bolt will be in contact with alluminium holder and not carbon (witch it will be) you dont need that shimano plate, no problem.

I want something in the classic dark british racing green, matching the sample they have on web page. YS7935. And everywhere I look, this is a quite dark color. The color Wendy sent me as an example is like twice as bright. Like 2x the L in HSL color.
