for those piecing together their bikes, while i'm waiting for my frame, i just ordered my dura ace 12 speed groupset from anrancee via aliexpress a couple of weeks ago and it arrived this past week. took about 10 days to ship, but got regular updates via aliexpress. took advantage of 15% rakuten cashback for aliexpress and there was $90 coupon at the time too. around $2000. a lot of $, but decided to splurge, even though i know ultegra or 105 are much better value. it came very well packaged, each individual part in paper and bubble wrap. chainrings weren't mounted but makes sense since you can spec the chainring and crank length size.
one of the reasons i decided to go for the LCR018D vs a off the rack bike was the ability to spec everything, so it was nice to order this groupset exactly how i wanted (ie. 11-34 instead of 11-30 cassette, crank length, chain rings size, disc rotors, etc). i was a bit nervous since it was my 1st aliexpress purchase, but reviews online reassured me and anrancee was well recommended.
also picked up some ztto 18t hollow dt swiss swiss ratchets to replace the 54t ones in the LC wheelset for a quieter hub (fyi, the older solid 18t ratchets don't work with the single spring setup LC uses -- i had one laying around that i tried), the little rubber nubs to make the top buttons on the dura ace shifters a bit more responsive, a di2 usb-c charger adapter, a co2 pump adapter, and a few more of the newer metal valved ridenow tpu tubes i plan to keep in the LCR018D's downtube storage.
the lightcarbon 53db wheelset is now mounted with tires (sworks turbo 700x30, although i have a set of conti gp5k 700x32 ready as well), dura ace 11-34 cassette, and CL900 dura ace rotors...just waiting for the frameset...
