My Gineyea is installed and bike fully assembled. I posted a pic of the finished bike earlier in this thread. No more close up dimensional pictures! I do have an unused tool for a 50mm T-47.

It does not surprise in the least that there is more than one version of the Gineyea. It is both a scourge and boon of Chinese manufacturing that specs can change overnight without notice.

@mingc agree that with Chinese manufacturing the specs could change depending on the hour you buy something. It might be helpful to the thread if you let people know when you got your frame and that way others reading this might be able to reference the same purchase time frame and buy the right tool. I ordered my frame in April and received it in July and have a 49mm bb.

Also, this could just be the camera angle/lens or additional material on the tool itself but the difference in size between the 49mm and 52mm tool appears to be significantly larger than 3mm.

It's arrived! Took a bit of a punt on the paint; Is it blue? Is it green? It's so preeetty!  Looks really tidy, paint is excellent, contact points have been nicely faced and everything was really packed. Looking forward to getting it built!

FYI, beware the Ti computer mount. I added this with my frame and bar order, snapped with only my Karoo3 on it. Never had a light or gopro with the computer.

it looks different from mine (ordered 4/4, delivered 6/27)

The Ti mount LC is shipping me looks like the one you have, LC must have upgraded the mount as it looks like beefer construction...

yeah, i don't know when @chaseme's ti mount was shipped, but the truss construction of the newer/current titanium computer mount probably adds strength without adding too much material and weight.

I wouldn't worry about it, that flimsy mount shown by the OP (chaseme) is not what LC is currently sending out. See the pic uploaded by Jksu, that is what LC is shipping now...

I contacted Jim from LC and he said he'd send me the new version. If anyone has the old style like me I'd ask them to replace it before a costly break maybe takes out your computer. I got luck as only one side broke when I noticed snd remove my Karoo.

Anyone ordered spares at a later date from their original bike order and what postage did you pay?

Just ordered seatpost to Denmark. Shipping $33. So I added 2x BC11 bottle holders and a shimano direct mount derailleur to the same package - no extra shipping. So seems to be the small packet shipping cost.  But that is DDP. I.e. duty prepaid. I think the price is fair.

I do not want to use the HBR17 integrated handlebars on my build. But rather a 3rd party 2 piece bar+stem combo, if possible with full integration.

1- Anyone has done that? What stem would you recommend for that?
2-Should I:
    A) Ask for the HBR17 top covers and spacers and then find a stem that fits on top
or B) Get a stem with a top cover that will work with the lcr018D frame.

I was looking at the deda superbox V2 for example, it ships with 46mm and 56mm top covers.
Would that work as option B (preferably) or A? (I tired to attach a picture)

cool project.  i love the idea given, generally, i prefer having the option to swap stems/bars more easily.  i did wonder if fsa acr standard stems would work on the LCR018D.

i haven't done it (liking the HBR17 and sizing worked out).  but i'd ask LC if they make headset covers that pair up with fsa acr or deda's stems.  if not, see if someone online has created a 3D print file for such a cover/spacer. 

the deda 56 might work given the LCR's headset bearings are size 52 but you'd have to take a caliper to the LCR to confirm it wouldn't rub the frame.

I got a reply from Joy from LC with this diagram:

For your reference, the original LCR018-D headset interface with our HBR17 integrated handlebar system is as follows:
Upper headset interface: Inner diameter 52.1mm, depth 8.7mm
Fork steerer: Standard OD1 diameter 28.6mm

I found the technical Deda Superbox V2 manualwith the dimensions. See picture 2.
I feel like it should work. However, I do not understand the 8.8+-0,3 mm dimension on the Deda manual. What does it refer too? Looks like the top cover?

Will try to ask both Deda and LC for confirmation too.
