I like the geo of this one, seems fitting for unfit people like myself. Not sold on the design yet, but maybe I will be convinced when I see it in other colors, I guess I'll have to wait a year and see when they start popping up.

Wow, that frame looks absolutely beautiful! It perfectly meets all the requirements I have. Since I’m not very familiar with Lightcarbon, I was wondering if there’s a custom paint option available when ordering. Once it becomes available in size 56, I might consider ordering one.

Altough this seems to be nearly the perfect bike for me, I am scared this endurance-light gravel geometry will feel dull and boring. Cycling is my hobby, and i like to be comfortable, but i dont want to loose the feeling of pure adrenaline and speed on decents or fast corners. I dont really care about the couple of watts (Enve Melee vs Fray with rider is a 4.4W difference with rider @40kph), but it do care about the joy my hobby brings me.

Am i exaggerating or is my concern valid?

Btw Enve Melee vs Fray with rider is a 4.4W difference with rider @40kph, 3.3w without rider. Fray seems pretty similar to the LCR018-D while the Melee is being raced at the top of the sport.

It depends on your prior experience with the bikes.
Extreme example as if you had trail bike your entire cycling story and then jump on some relaxed gravel bike such as Giant Revolt. For sure it would feel like a rocket ship on less technical terrain.

All else being equal, your position is the main drag on your system, and after a few hours on the saddle, you can only keep an fast position if you are comfortable. Comfort is speed.

We lost some posts to the software migration though I read them and remember that somebody had a date for the bigger frame sizes? Would be nice to refill your knowledge into the thread - I am very intrigued by the frame and would plan a build if I had some rough time frame.

When I look in the catalog, the HBR18 looks like a gravel bar with a lot of flare (16 deg). Seems like a mismatch for this bike which seems more suited for all road.

"LCR018-D 58 real frame is expected to be available around October -December 2025.

LCR018-D costs US$625/set (Black matte finish without logos by default.)
Unit price includes Frame +fork +seat post+clamp +headset bearings+headset spacers +thru-axles+ integrated handlebar HBR17
Optional handlebar HBR17 wide 36/38/40/42cm wide, stem length 80/90/100/110/120/130mm
The size 52cm will be the fist production, and then 50, 54, 56, 47 and 58cm

Will visit on Thursday, probably Friday, too, and ask them more about that model, as it is not in the line up of their Eurobike profile - only LCR017-D and the gravels
Definitely, will check the Gravel frames, with Storage + Suspension.
