I ordered my 54 a few weeks ago and got that artwork confirmation before I paid.
Haven't heard anything since, but was told it will be October before it's ready.

I ordered a few weeks ago as well, but recently they changed it to a November delivery.

I was given a quote of $200 for that specific Eurobike paint job.
A simple chameleon paint job was quoted at only $120.
I ended up choosing raw carbon finish, lacquered with decals.

Again, thank you.  My Light Carbon rep (they really might all be the same person with different emails, lol) wants to charge me $220 for that paint job.

LightCarbon quoted me 235$ for the 3 colour paint job. The design of paint job that I asked for is the same as what they used before on some of the expos.

So the total is  $1125.47 that inlcude frame with down tube pocket including handlebar  $659, T47 BB $15, paint job $235, delivery to UK $168 and paypal fee $48.47.

My frame size (58) will be available in November, plus 2 - 4 weeks for paint job so delivery is probably late december or early January.

Cost is now just 100 £ less than latest elves falath exp frame with handlebar. Hm, is this frame worth the wait ?

[edited] forgot to mention that maybe tax man will hit me with 20% VAT bill which will make this frame actually more expensive than elves falath exp that is delivered from UK

I think big difference is the tire size, 38C vs 32C. I think the Falath is stuck at 32. The fact that you could use this frame for both road rides and some descent gravel makes it worth it.

The Falath isn't a like for like comparison - its geometry is more aggressive with a much shorter head tube.
Just to note that I paid $131 for DPD customs paid UK delivery.

Agreed with both statements. I would also add that elves falath exp's awkward seat tube position is forcing shimano di2 batter to be placed inside the down tube through the BB hole instead of the standard position inside a seat post. So any battery maintenance requires BB removal.   Not a big concern for sram or wheeltop electric group sets but I have a spare shimano 105 di2 to fit.

I placed an order today for a 52 frame in raw carbon finish, got a shipping time estimate in about 45 days. Now the wait begins...

Do you know of a similar "allroad" bikes for 50% road and 50% light gravel, UDH hanger and at least 38mm tyres, preferably as horizontal top tube as passible ;D

Minus a very horizontal top tube, the latest Scott Addict 2026 seems to have entered the chat (notable cause besides direct-China frames, the market was quite empty for such relaxed allroads)
I don't know if there's an error in their geo table but the stack has been raised quite a bit. 38mm tyre clearance and UDH. The MSRP of the entry level model is not "that bad".

Did you get a discount for a raw carbon finish?

What do you guys think about that downtube storage "hole"? I absolutely love this LightCarbon frame, geometry is perfect for me, tyre clearance is amazing and Iam in process of ordering one.
The only thing that Iam not sure about is that hole in downtube (I love the idea, and dont mind the look), but I think it is pretty big structural peace of frame missing and can be affected in pretty big way. Has it ever been done in some chinese frames, do you have some experience with it, or do you think it will be fine and belive they test it and beaf up carbon around? It is not that I dont belive they test it and adjusted layup arround that, but Iam cautiously careful :).

nick82

its quite common now the yoeleo G21 has storage on both the top tube and downtube look at reviews of that or the tantan gr201 for how its implented. modern features like that and great tire clearance is why i went with this frame, IMO rather than just a tool bag to go in there they should include some removable clips to hold a di2/erx battery as well

Kobayagi

Yes, it's becoming very common, especially in the gravel category. I think the new Specialized Diverge even has it in the aluminum version.

I am too in the process of thinking about buying one, but one part of me think I should wait for Hambini/Tracevelo quality check (they have not announced it, I just reckon they will based on their enthusiasm). But on the other hand, it seems to me that Lightcarbon in general is known for good quality - eg the other Lightcarbon frame that Mondraker bought rights to. So maybe there really is no gamble associated with buying this frame right away.

Why did those of you, who already bought it, choose to not wait for proper reviews?

1) Because I don't trust all (most of) reviews at all ^^
2) When brands send some frames to some youtubers, they always double check the frame but may not do this for casual customers
3) The frame thick a lot of box
4) I am a scientist so I like to take some risk
5) I have a good dentist ;)
6) LC is well known even if they have some troubles with some frames
7) I plan to make a long review of the frame from the unboxing to the ride.
