personally I think it looks good, so no worry. Maybe it does not look pretty, but it looks properly compacted with no wrinkles and that is the important bit .

good to hear. i am planning on building it sramano style. shifters/derailleurs from sram and cassette/chain/cranks from shimano. Someone is raising concerns here of using a big chainring. is it a problem with the position of the front derailleur hanger ?  is a 52/36 at the front unrealistic?

Any idea what kind of 16 tooth bb tool is needed  for the bb they supply ?  I guess is a 49-16 or 52-16.

They told me 49-16. Could you measure the width of the BB please to confirm that ?

Which tightening torque will you apply for the rail saddle with this type of'clamp ? For a carbon rail saddle.

From the picture, I can’t quite understand where the hose hole is located on the steerer.
It looks like it’s on the side which could be awkward (depending what side you have your shifters)

It seems on the left side (thanks to picture with the fork on the balance. The serial number is in front of the fork). Perfect for left front brake.

That’s what I thought. A pain for right / front users.

You can put a tape 5 cm on top of the hole in order to set the hose on the right.

But yes, it is easier for the left (90% of bike ?).

I’d usually tape a fork anyway, just a bit strange In my opinion to not go for more central hole.
Not a deal breaker.
I think I probably build 50%-50% right/ front vs right rear for my clients. Personal choice, but Europe and the US tend to bias right rear.
Uk is usually right front and Ireland is about 50/50.

you mean tape the hose to the steerer once its where you want it? is that necessary?

its definately a bit annoying when some of their other forks have it in the centre, i understand most bikes are set up that way though.

Yes. Not necessary but it will helps the rooting through the handlebar and IIRC, the SL8 and Propel manual tell to do this.
