Just a question, is the UDH thingy just a light version of the default SRAM UDH?
I just found this "LightCarbon UDH" on AliX: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005009882315902.html

for my understanding it looks like a default one, but with more removed material to be lighter.
Would be a default UDH also fit on the frame?

Interesting - I'd like to run a direct mount RD hanger if possible as thats what ive always done with my Shimano setups.

I thought the "mini UDH" was proprietary to the frame - am I mistaken?
If I am wrong, does that mean something like this would fit? (would be great if it did)

I guess it should work. Being UDH compatible, it should/must comply with the respective standard, as the LC "light" version...

Sorry, just checked back and see on Page 9 JimLee confirmed that you can install a standard UDH hanger.
Think ill go for a direct mount version.

Would be also my option for Shimano ones.

I will get a "blue" default one and say no thank you for the ~15grams weight saving

That's the logic behind the standards. If they state it as UDH, it must comply with the UDH standard or it's not UDH. In this case, our "confusion" relates to their "light" version of UDH, which must be only a lighter version of a regular UDH hanger...

Any brand can do what they like to save weight from the hanger, it’s the hole in the frame that’s important for a UDH rear mech to work correctly.

So long as that hole is to SRAM specs, it’s UDH.

Can't seem to find it, but have it in my head that its M12x1.0 - I think Light Carbon are now on holidays so probably unable to get direct confirmation for a few days.

Timeline shipping to Germany.

- Sept. 15 - Wendy sent me the pictures/videos of the painting, ask finalizing detail
- Sept. 18 - received shipping notice + tracking number from Wendy
- Number can be used on DHL tracker too - but no change of status until this Tuesday.
- Oct. 1st - received DHL update notice, delivery for tomorrow (now)

so about 2 weeks shipping time!

Weights, guys:

- headset: 172g spacers and stuff
- battery seat-post holder, wedges for seat post: 43g
- device mount + gopro under mount: 40g
- uncut fork (no axle): 430g
- both axels: 64g
- painted frame in size 52, no door: 1004g
- handlebar 380x80: 303g
- door: forget to weight in, about 30g or so.

I will probably make a short video tonight, build up maybe start on week-end/next week

I'm expecting a shipping notification any day now, so at least a couple of weeks behind you, so really look forward to any videos and build updates you have pointing out anything that may be good to know.

        Congratulations! So the total weight so far is 2.086 kg. Mine should arrive in about a month, but since this is my first build I’m not sure how complicated things might get. I’m really curious to see if everything goes smoothly for you or if there are issues that only experienced builders can handle. In that case I guess I’ll have to ask my local mechanic for some help."

These should be a fairly simple build as the biggest headache for inexperienced builders, cable routing, is made more straightforward by removing the door.

Routing the hoses before adding the bb will also help.
