Yes I ordered the cheap one but then started looking round and wondered if it was 'too cheap' and maybe i'd be better off fitting a better, branded one (I'm not at the point where I want to spend £200 on a ceramicspeed one!)

That was my concern, I feel like the $15 is cheap and not the best choice. I am gong to test out the $85 CEMA ceramic option they have

Hey guys. Can anyone who has build or has a frame in hand confirm what length bolts are needed for both front and rear ultegra hydraulic brakes? Picked up a barely used ultegra groupset while awaiting my frame but didn't receive bolts and want to order the correct tlength ones before the frame arrives.

Front: M5x15 and rear: M5x35 when using 140mm break disc, otherwise, the rear bolts will be correspondingly longer.

That's the exact one I was looking at from Tweeks Cycles. I think that's about the best price in the UK right now. Assuming that the AXS crank is a DUB size, this should be the one. I'll be using mine with a Magene 2x.

Cool, thanks - am planning to get the Force AXS E1 2x groupset & Rival E1 power meter crank also from Tweek; again they seem to be the best UK price currently, will add the BB to the shopping list.

The code you need to look for in general is MH-P16 but from Enduro

Thanks so much for replying and excuse my inexperienced here. If I want to run 160mm rotors on the rear I need to use the flat mount adapter for 140m frame? If I do do you know what length bolts I would then need?

Oh dang, I hope it's not 140mm discs. I assumed it was 160mm front and back so I bought a pair of 160mm discs!

No, the frame is designed for 140mm discs at the rear, and an adapter is needed for 160mm Disc 😬

Yeah that is ok frame is usually made for 140mm, if you want to use 160mm you can buy adapter for that, bolt length is the same for both. Do you have shimano or sram?

If I am to understand correctly then; If you fit the 140mm rotors, you will need the M5x35 bolt that goes right through the frame and directly into the caliper? And, if you fit 160mm rotors you will still need the same M5x35 bolts, plus the adaptor and M5x15 bolts?

Are the adaptors supplied with the LC018-D frameset?

cycloholic: Yeah that is basically it. Bolt length depends on frame thickness, Shimano supply bolts for 25mm frame thickenss (LCR018-D) should be that (can not confirm that on 100%, I dont have my frame yet ) as standard with calipers, if you need something else you need to buy separate and shimano rear 160mm adapter is sold separately also (Shimano SM-MA-R160D/D) it does not come with a frame.

so basically you just need to buy goupset with calipers and then just Shimano SM-MA-R160D/D adapter and you should have everything you will need.
I have no idea how Sram does it .
