Author Topic: Recommend me a non-integrated gravel frame with a standard seatpost?  (Read 276 times)

Hi all, hope life is good.

I'm in the market for a good non-integrated gravel frame; carbon if possible. Various reasons but I really want to be able to choose my own cockpit, and I've fallen out of love with routing integrated headsets.

I'd also want to be able to run a regular seatpost, any of the standard widths will do the job.

Has anyone seen this unicorn in the wild?

TIA

SP-Cycles G068 could be the unicorn.

both the G068 and G058 have a semi internal option offered by sp-cycle, I would recommend using an elita one seatpost as the clamp would slip on the one i got from sp. Saddle would tilt like crazy if i hit bumps even with it over torqued a lot. Get a good headset system over the one they include as well

Thanks both!

Technically speaking any frame will allow you to use a non integrated handlebar, the difference is the location of the cable entry points - down tube, head tube or headset cover. The latter is called a semi integrated setup which still allows you to use your own handlebar and stem.
