I ordered a size S frame back in mid-May. Was hoping to receive it by mid/late July but I'm wondering if it'll be longer. When I reached out to VB a couple weeks ago asking for an update all they told me was that the small frame was undergoing ISO testing and would start mass production once that was complete. No date or timeline was given but they did say they would send photos of the frame before they ship it out so I'll share those when I receive them.

I did notice the sizing runs large. After mapping up my planned build on bikegeocalc.com I saw the stand-over of the size small was going to be about 775mm, definitely high for someone with an 800mm inseam but I liked the geo of the small frame a lot better than the XS.

They shipped my medium July 1st. About a month after they first estimated. It's supposed to get here the 7th and is already at my local UPS office from Hong Kong. So shipping time wasn't bad at all, just the delays in shipping.

Thanks for these photos. I'm really disappointed :'( I would like to have aero frame that looks more like Rose Backroad FF or Ridley ASTR with clean look in front and rear, but these installation points with visible bolts on fork's crown and seat stay look extremely unaesthetic.
As this gravel purchase will be my first one from OEM, does anyone knows if the manufacturer could remove these bolts for special request?

I should get mine tomorrow. If I do get it I'll post for the forum. I got the zero offset seatpost, gloss black, I opted for no handlebars but never got confirmation that they didn't or did take them out so...

If you don't mind, any of the following would be very nice to know:

Fork, chainstay and seatstay width (for tire clearance)
1x chainring clearance.

I need to get some calipers still but I have a 2.2 that im guessing is really blowing out to be a 2.1 on my hardtail. I'll try that sometime but I drove to work today instead so no tires with me at the moment.

Any chance for 1x chainring around 50? Or the 46 is all what will fit there?

So I had a chance to put some tires into the frame and see whatll fit. Sadly to say, my 2.2s cleared the chain stays and sesttube just fine, but it rubbed on both chain stays. That may be from the fact the rim isn't fully true but even without the minor variation in it, I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The 50 cleared the front with around 6mm on either side so 2.2 would be fine up front.

I will say that 2.2 race King looked damn good in the frame, if you shave the side knobs off it may work but kinda seems like a waste when you could get a proper 2.1, just watch the side knob height.

Here's an album of photos I've taken so far. No calipers still so no solid numbers but the Allen key in the photos are all 6mm wide. Rear tire is a 45 terra trail and a 50mm
