My build is finished. I’m very satisfied with the frame’s quality, even though I had some concerns before it arrived.

Looks really nice!

1. Can you tell about chainring clearance in a 1x setup? Would 48 or even 50 fit?
2. Would be great if you could tell, if tire clearance is really maxed out at 50 or if even a little bit wider would fit. Plenty of room with 45s?

my build is almost finished, RD will be in the mail today.

- the "silver" bolts everywhere really do not look nice, ordered black ones
- 48 chainring on DUB Wide fits the frame (see picture)
- tire clearance is okay but not super-roomy. I put in a 2.1 Thunder Burt and it clears well. Not sure about Conti 2.2 Dubnitals. Shown in the picture are 45mm GK X1.

Will provide additional photos when the build is finished if you guys are interested.

The 2.1 mountain bike tyre is on a 700c wheel, or 650?

If I plan to use the latest SRAM Rival 1x13 groupset, will I also need to change the axle? If so, which axle should I use?

Axle: "The Robert Axle Project", Part Number LIG603 (Axle length 162 or 167mm) Thread Pitch M12x1,0 (other axle manufacturers will fit as well)

Very nice! Are those 50s mounted on a wide rim? Or do you know how wide the measurd width is? Planning to run 50s on 32mm internal rims, so I guess those will measure ~52mm.... Do you think that fits?

Do you have a pictur of the space for the 46 Chainring? That would be nice, if you have time to take a picture.

Did you design the decals yourself or can you share a link to them? Like the idea

You can order custom decals from speedy decals (Italy). This guy does everything thing when it comes to decals! Just pick any decal and send him an email with your ideas.

Those are the "bad" 2.0 Race Kings. A 2.2 definitely won’t fit in the rear.

I was hoping for more clearance so I could run 2.2 Dubnitals — but that’s just not happening.

That said, the bike rides really well.
I’ll keep my eyes open for a frame with more tire clearance in the future.

The chainring is a 48T.

How much room to spare in the front?

Fwiw, on my GR201 a 2.2 fits - barely - if you cut the hairs on the knobs and only if it’s absolutely dry. I’ve got about 2-3mm clearance.

In the front a 2.2 should fit easly.
I also had a look at the GR201 and while I generally like the frame, I am waiting for one to truly fit 2.2s - I am in no rush anyway.
