No, I'm not allowed to ride anything without a motor due to a turn muscle in my leg...
Also I couldn't do to much for the build so it's just going to be coated within the next days or week ..

Wheels are ready, groupset wide um discussing with myself if I'm going 1x11 GRX or 2x11 GRX Di2...
And I'm starting to rethink my choices for handlebar and stern again 🤣

Too much time obviously...

No worries! I literally just stumbled on this entire forum two days ago so I'm trying to learn as much as I can as quickly as I can.

I have already bought the new SRAM Force group and 9Velo CD Wide wheelset so I'm researching what to pair them to frameset-wise. Lots floating around in my head.

Today at Eurobike I took a close look at the frame and had a long, very interesting conversation with Peter.

The frame was finished in a satin clear coat and looked absolutely stunning. From what I could tell (as a hobby engineer with an eye for detail), the build quality and finish seem top-tier.

One part I found especially intriguing was our discussion about the T47 bottom bracket:
I mentioned that I’ve had some struggles with it in the past, and Peter explained their unique manufacturing process. The bottom bracket shell is embedded directly into the mold like it’s bonded in place, and the threads are then precisely CNC-machined afterward. To me, that sounds like a solid and well-thought-out approach.

Conclusion: I think this frame could be a great fit for an upcoming project.

P.S.: I’ve been working on a few concept designs for this frame, inspired by iconic motorsport liveries – and I’ll be sending them over to Peter.

I dont know much about iconic liveries but love motorsports themes. I'm designing a gloss white and purple polka dot design in my head, thats what I want on my new bike. Any chance for a render from you? I have zero clue how this works lol

What would be needed for it to be a race version? Do you mean just a racier geometry?

I'm not a designer and put this together in a pretty hands-on, no-frills way — sorry for that! I just played around a bit and drew some inspiration from Gulf Racing, Marlboro McLaren, and Martini Racing designs. I've already shared a few ideas with Peter. Here's one example — if you end up using it, please be fair and either send Peter my regards from Patrick or just get in touch.

I like the look of this frame but, according to the geometry chart, the standover is really high/there are no small sizes. VeloBuild's new gravel frame has a similar issue. Anyone with a sub 80cm/31.5" inseam is going to struggle to fit this frame. That is probably over half of all people. It seems like the designers forget than when you make the headtube taller or need to accommodate big tires, you have to slope the top tube to keep the standover from getting unreasonably tall.

maybe less seat post -> less compliance?

but as someone with very short legs, it might also become a problem to get the saddle low enough

I mean, ideally I'd want to avoid the possibility of racking myself on the top tube. Sure you can slant the bike but imo you shouldn't have to. The reason endurance and gravel bikes have sloped top tubes is specifically to address standover.
