I initially bought this wheelset for my upcoming road bike, but then a gravel bike with heavy 650b wheels arrived in my fleet. So I gave the gravel bike a very nice-looking upgrade. (Zen Carbon 60/55mm 3.1mm carbon spokes, SR270 hub, +-1300gr)
Yesterday I came back from a ride and noticed that many spokes on the non-drive side are twisted. Some even up to 90 degrees. Front wheel is perfectly straight, rear drive side as well.
I can't think of a reason why this would happen during the ride, so I assume they already came like this out of the box.
Either way, they need to be straight again. I got this full-aero wheelset and the spokes are literally catching the wind now.
This is my first carbon-spoke wheelset, so I'm hoping to get some advice on the best way to fix this. I tried loosening a nipple to release tension so I could straighten the spoke, but the spoke itself rotated. Before I grab pliers or something to hold it in place, I thought I'd better ask here first.
Friendly experts from Chiner, please advise! 😄
