Which Factory Manufactures Ventum and Rose Bikes?
« on: June 26, 2025, 11:05:58 AM »
I kind of despise threads like these. Mainly from new forum members whose seemingly only purpose of creating an account is to ask these type of questions. But here we are...

Currently I am reviewing the latest Ventum NS1 in size 58/L and it is freaking fantastic. Moving up a frame size has been a revelation in terms of comfort, stability, weight distribution, and most importantly not needing a 140mm length stem.

However, not every brand has the exact stack and standover height requirements I need in a larger size. Most are just terribly too high for my needs.

While the NS1 isn't an open mold design, it's clear in the finer details that Ventum is using a Chinese factory. In fact, I was able to swap out the provided 7x9 saddle clamp in favor of a 7x7 clamp from my TanTan x38 road bike.

Both Ventum and Rose Bikes have a geometry in a size large that works for me. Curious to know which factory are making their frames.

Ventum has been around long enough that i would suspect Carbonda but don't know that for sure.

After looking at the Carbonda frames available on their site, they only have 2 gravel and an endurance All Road frame, anyone know where I can find a racier geometry frame from them?

You won't find those frames on their website. Those manufacturers have exclusivity deals with those brands, they won't sell them to you where the brand is also selling the frame.

Carbonda has an aero frame on their website: https://www.carbonda.com/road/cfr-vt02.html

Max 30c tires kills it for me and I can't find geo for that frame in my size. Thanks for posting it tho! It didn't show up when I looked originally.

The speeder frames are also solidly racey geo wise. The 55d is basically the same as the ventum, but steeper sta I think. The 49 is a more aggressive frame with longer reach and lower stack especially at the large sizes.

Speeder R55D is a lot like my Tavelo Arow. For obvious reasons. But the geometry is a tad different.

A size 560 in the R55D would almost be spot on to my Ventum in a 58/L but just a longer wheelbase by 6mm. And compared to my size 540 Tavelo Arow where I run 15mm of spacers plus a 130mm stem, I could slam a 120mm stem with the R55D to get an identical fit.

Longer wheelbase, better weight distribution, slammed cockpit for steering dynamics, and a less obnoxious stem. The R55D in a larger size might be what I'm looking for as I plan for next year. It's weird the frame has UDH but not T47 though, since anyone needing UDH is almost certainly also using a 29 DUB spindle. BB86 doesn't always play nice with DUB. I just hope the standover height isn't taller than 825. Speeder's website does not provide that data.

Agreed, I would love UDH and T47! I wanted to ask you in your youtube video how youre enjoying the 58 Ventum? I'm curious what your height and inseam are?

That's an interesting point. Where did you pick this information?
