Pretty sure my bike came with one of those rubber-ribbed things, but someone else should confirm, since I toss all of those into a box and have no idea which one came with which bike.

I still think this frame is worth the hassle of dealing with the unpolished bits, though the integrated bar from LTK really looks like something you should not be buying. I am not sure the Kocevlo one is better if it is the one in this thread:https://chinertown.com/index.php?topic=5362.0

Regarding the headset, it's not a noob question; it's legit as bad as bottom-bracket standards at this point, if not worse. Some Merida bikes (e.g., the Scultura) use a shallower ream depth than the FSA and Deda standard. IMO, it's best to use a setup with an FSA ACR-specific fitment or is compatible with the spacer stack.

Thanks so much for your input. Now i know that the sensible thing to do is going with the FSA stem. We'll see if I can resist the temptations of a flashy cheap integrated cockpit or if I'll just try it out. I did not consider the longteng handlebar, because i need 120mm length.

Sorry bro I'm running SRAM... That said, I don't remember a di2 battery holder amongst the bits and bobs. However, I did not specifically ask for one from Alisa, and I did enumerate in my email to her everything I did want to be included with the frame/seattube/fork...

I would ask Alisa, she should know as there are builds with Di2 running around. The Tideace / Permeants official build also looks to be running Di2.

I am on sram and honestly wasn't paying attention to that part when unboxing.

ll right, thank you. I was aware that both of you are using SRAM, but surely there must be some people who have built their bikes with Di2. Naturally, I asked Alisa first, but after waiting almost three days for a response, the answer I received was: “We do not provide this with this frame.”
That was quite a disappointment.

At first, I wanted to purchase a mount, but unfortunately I ordered the wrong one(27,2mm size instead 31) and therefore couldn’t determine whether a standard mount would work. I have now had one 3D-printed, which fits perfectly.
If anyone is interested, I can share the STL file.

I also believe that my rubber seatpost cover looks excellent—possibly even better than the original one, don’t you think?

Handlebar looks good if you want the 8mm Lift Design! If they provide FSA adapters, you're good to go as long as you also get the FSA No55 headset. Personally I'd prefer flat bars.

I've found a few wraps of bar tape offcuts hold the battery just fine.  I I've got 10k incident free using this method on my previous bike.  Obviously you can tailor the degree of hold very easily by varying the overlap.

...though your 3d printed one is obviously very nicely done.  Just mentioning the tape method for anyone stuck.

I dont know how much stack you need, but I think this handle bar with the FSA adapter should look really nice with this frame.

I would get the "FSA No. 55R 1.5' ACR Low Stack Headset" as it has the updated 42mm upper bearing the C ring that I think works better than the older version of the headset. It should all match up really nicely.

For the seatpost cover, I ordered one from the Giant Defy (part number 1724-SPSHIM-901). It costs only €1.49 at Bike24.

Spacer-wise, I haven't found anything so far — maybe I’ll just print something myself.

Does anyone know a cheap handlebar with integrated cable routing (with the hole at the back)? I have three FSA stems (100–120 mm) to figure out the right length, but it’s harder than I expected to find a regular handlebar with integrated routing. I know Ritchey has some models, but I don’t like their handlebar shapes. It also shouldn’t be too expensive since I only need it for testing before I buy a proper cockpit once I know the right size.

i didnt noticed that there a different models! cant find your exact modell on fsa website! can you post a link! i'm using the fsa 55 acr which works just fine

They are similar parts; the dealer catalog has them listed as:
- No 55R ACR - STD, often listed by dealers as No. 55R ACR Standard: Uses 2 TH MR127 bearings (Part No. 13000021000110)
- No 55R ACR - LS, often listed by dealers as No. 55R ACR Low Stack: Uses 1 TH MR127 bearing on the bottom and THMR261A bearing for the top (Part No. 130-0020000010)

Additionally, the Low Stack headset comes with a lower profile headset cover (4.4mm vs. 10.4mm) and an updated C-Ring.

In an effort to keep everyone confused, I *think* the LS headset is replacing the STD version in the lineup, hence the similar part numbers, but IDK, this is FSA we are talking about, which has had at least one other No. 55R headset variant in the past. If you have the STD headset and its working, there is not much reason IMO to get the LS version unless you want the lower stack.
