I messaged Chris @ VB beforehand and confirmed the discount without stem and bars. He said he would refund 60 USD. I ordered it normally and sent a quick reminder to Chris over email about the discount we discussed beforehand.

Re: handlebars, there is a proprietary ACR adapter top-cap that I will use along with some 3D printed adapters from A proto Bike to use either a Kalloy Uno or S-Works Tarmac stem with a regular handlebar.

My frame has just been shipped - bought on Sep 1st with a raw carbon and clear coat finish.

All of your orders should have been shipped as well, unless you have more complicated custom paint jobs

Mine too, ordered back in July.

Only issue, the integrated bar is not the size I had asked for (380/100 rather than 380/110) but have asked Chris to confirm/replace/send the right one and I'll return the old one.

No confirmation of my options before shipping, which I was expecting, but the finish (matte carbon) is correct so here's hoping.

Does anyone know the fork diameter? OD1 (1 1/8" = 28.6mm) or OD2 (1 1/4" = 31.8mm)? I asked Chris, but no answer yet. I can't tell from specifications on the product page.

Would be nice to be able to source a handlebar before arrival of the frame set.

since some of you guys will be receiving their frames in the near future I would appreciate it if you could post pictures specifically of the frame's front end, the headset cover and stem situation and how it looks when you slam the stem as much as possible with either of the covers they send with the frame.
I'm interested in the frame because I'm looking for a long reach frame but as it stands I would need size 58 in reach and size 55 in stack. The 58 with a stack of 591 is at least 20 mm too tall but maybe I can make it work with a -17° stem, from looking at the pictures I'm just not sure how many spacers you need to add between headset cover and stem because you surely can't slam the stem on there.

Happy to, and why not drop Chris a line and see if he'll send some photos over too.
For what it's worth, unless you try to use a gravel frame with road forks or a tt frame this is probably the only way to try a long(ish) reach frame short of looking at Ridley or Dare.

In a similar boat, at smaller size. I'd really like to get away without a 17° stem as I already have it now and I'm not a fan of the look. Think the standard headset cover adds about 6mm, but that's because it's made a bit thick, it should be possible to make it thinner, like scott foil does at 2mm, but it would have to be a custom 3d print job.

And she bucks tradition, although probably on the conservative side, but I'm excited to try it.

No I'm pretty much the exact opposite of him, very low front and very forward saddle. His road tt hip angle is my climbing hip angle.
